What's MQ/FM? Is that something we measure?

Adding to this: don't let numbers dictate your goal. I read this in another forum when I was looking into which body fat test was the most accurate (bodpod, dexa, etc) in order to get mine tested. What the one guy said stuck with me. If you get your body fat tested and it's at 10% (the "holy grail") but you don't like the way you look, are you going to stop cutting just because you're already at 10%?

I'm in your exact same position. You can always get one and have some sperm frozen

Except he hasn't seen her in 5 years. As far as she knows, he could've been acting this way for years now

our testosterone and estradiol are in range though. These tests usually come with a paper telling you the "normal" ranges

The general public neither has what it takes to get in shape nor wants to. Wouldn't that be the perfect reason to do it? They're wasting their time and money hiring personal trainers but are just spinning their wheels which means more money for the trainer.

Are you a personal trainer? I ask because I'm thinking of taking this road as I don't like my current career field.

Mistake 1 was texting her. Fucking an ex is never a good move, no matter how good the pussy is. This is coming from experience

Make sure you actually know how to PM. Last dude just posted them all as replies

Just don't let it get to you. I was always under the mindset of "We don't have to like each other, we just have to work together"

A 500 caloric deficit with a traditional diet and a 500 caloric deficit with a ketogenic diet will yield the same amount of fat loss. One of the benefits to a Keto diet is that you will see a greater loss in the beginning of the diet due the restriction of carbs and loss of water weight. It also has some other health benefits that I can't remember off the top of my head. In the end, the best diet is one you can stick with.

0.8-1.2 grams per pound of body weight. Aim for the larger amount when you're cutting

Yes. Your week can be set up as squat/bench/deadlift (MWF) or squat (legs)/bench (chest)/rest/ohp (shoulders/arms)/deadlift (back)

You don't have to stick with 5x5. Do 5x5 for your compounds and 3-4x10-12 for everything else. Example back day: Deadlift: 5x5 Lat Pulldown: 3x12 Dumbbell Row: 3x12 Pull-ups: 3x10 You get the idea

They're telling you to lift because it matters. Not being out of shape is not the same as being someone who lifts. Women want to feel like they can be protected and some women won't date skinny guys but also won't date fat guys. Take a guess at the only option left. I've had girls tell me both of the above statements

I don't think it has anything to do with that. IMO, that's something that she believes in and won't budge with. Just like some people are 100% sure that they don't want kids and being with someone that does would be a deal breaker

Would you want to get married to someone and constantly be afraid that at any point in time they could end up divorcing you?

Why does it matter what they think? I usually just click through them all without actually viewing them because I hate having the "recent updates" full, they do the same. Not that it makes a difference to them, they'll think you watched it regardless. Stop focusing on the small details

This is gold. Thanks for this and all of your previous write-ups. I'm all for these little experiments and will keep this in mind next time she brings up exclusivity.

She's not doing you any favours by driving over right away for a romp in the sack. She gets as much benefit out of sex as you do. You're right, I completely disregarded this part. It has only been a month, if that.

She's between 1 and 2, practically 2 though. She'll usually come over when I text her, no questions asked or try to squeeze me in if she has stuff going on. We've never met up outside of my place. She'll usually come by, we'll talk a bit and/or watch a movie, then have sex. I've had her drive me once or twice to grab some food, but that's the extent of our non-sexual time. The only thing missing from her being fully in Level 2 is that she doesn't know many personal details about me. But that's h…

Does she have LTR potential? Yes. Only red flag I've seen thus far is that she has orbiters, but every woman has orbiters. Now, do I want an LTR? Not at the moment. I'm going to read your post right now

At least you broke your dry spell. Look at the bright side, it can only go up from here.

In some states they treat it as marriage after you've lived together for a specific time period. Might want to look into it

I think it mostly depends how you handle it

I loved your response. TBH, it's easy to be on the other side and say, "No, don't do it" but if I was in a dry spell and my ex wanted to hook up, I'd probably say yes.

I've been trying to do this but breaking into overseas contracting seems almost impossible

I had it for a bit but it went away. It really does blow. Regarding surgery, if you take away the gland, gyno won't come back but your nipples will look inverted (look up post surgery pictures to get an idea). If you leave the gland, your nips will look normal but there is a chance of it to come back. From what I've read, if gyno is less than two years old you can treat it with medication to either shrink it or get rid of it. It all comes down to what you value most. I probably would've gone thr…

Why're you trying to cut at 150lbs? I'm your same height, around 12-14% bf (bod pod) at 174lbs and I feel tiny. Start lifting and eating more. To answer your question, the difference from doing cardio on an empty stomach vs after eating is very minute. Focus on your calorie deficit.

TDEE +200-500 calories: 0.8-1.0g of protein per lb of body weight, ~70g fat and the rest carbs

The way you're saying it is clear enough. They probably think that they can get you to change your mind since y'know, "I'm not like other girls"

From what I've read, make your intentions clear (not wanting to get into a relationship) from the beginning
/r/askTRP20/06/16 09:49 PM

If you drop 600 calories and didn't lose any weight you're either underestimating your calorie intake or your TDEE is lower than the amount of calories you're eating. I can guarantee that if you were to eat 2000 calories (and make sure it's actually 2000 calories) you will lose weight. What's your current height/weight? Edit: just saw one of your other posts. I used the IIFYM calculator with your info (guessed on some of the options) and it came back roughly with what I suggested: 2014 calories.…

Biggest thing is consistency and making sure you're hitting your calorie goals (eating below your tdee=weight loss/eating above your tdee=weight gain). You're not going to get huge overnight or in a few months (unless you're a newbie/coming back after a while off), you have to be in this for the long run. As far as rep ranges, 8-12 is the ideal range for hypertrophy and 2-5 for strength. Anything higher is more for endurance. I suggest doing your compound lifts (bench, deadlift, squat, ohp) in a…

That'll be tough. Go back to their place? Or game girls that attend columbia or ccny

You shouldn't let money become an issue. Stay in the East Village. NYU is on 14th street so there are college girls galore. You'll find two types of girls here, the ones that come from wealthy families and don't worry about money, or the ones that are going into debt just like you will. East/West village for bars (I'd stick with East). It has a younger crowd, and not as expensive as its counterpart. There's a cool bar (Houston Hall) in the West Village which has a good amount of attractive colle…
