I never physically forced her anywhere, we were in a crowded rave after all, I was just taking control of the situation. I knew she wanted to come with me but was self aware because of her friends presence.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIE_ITidaKY Jokes aside this was brilliant, I especially LOVE: "Her "Are you fucking crazy or retarded?" "Which one's more fun in bed? That one"

That was more of a composite summation of what I have gathered from him so far. I don't recall a specific video where he makes that point. Also, if I could throw in something from last night (will probably write another FR about it too,) don't be attached to the outcome!

Nah man, I don't drink either. The excitement I generate is not dependent on the girls, I go and have fun regardless. The environment provides stimulation but I'm generating my own positive energy regardless of external stimuli and that is what is essential. If a girl rejects me, or, if a girl is totally into me, is something I've worked on (and am still working on) to not de-stabilize my mood.

Owen, or Tyler, is my main pua idol. I find the guy's views on pickup to be incredibly insightful and his teachings have, no exaggeration, completely changed my life for the better. I have found that being high energy, internally calm, value-generating, and facing your fears is the best set of actions to guide myself into improvement.

Nah, I like to generate energy and excitement from within.

Knocked down? Like physically hit? I felt that if I didn't make a move on the girl there that this other guy would have snatched her away from me. Obviously not wanting that to happen I did what seemed to me to be the most natural way to demonstrate to this guy 'she's mine.'

That seems to be the standard way to pass shit tests, amplify into absurdity. I love it. It's funny and it's non-desperate. Definitely going to remember this man.

Yeah, I gathered that much, but it's late, I'm sick, and I had nothing better to do but respond.

I don't really consider myself 'alpha', my game more relies on being self-amusing and not giving a fuck. I was, in both instances, very clear in my intent and aggressive, but at the same time, I didn't smother them. For instance with the second girl because I had hurt my leg dancing too hard I said to her: "Hey, look I don't want to ruin your fun, go ahead and dance and we can meet up again later." To which she responded she'd rather stay with me.

No doubt, I'm sure the idea has been said (worded many different ways) by tons of people in various fields, but Brad is who I originally heard it from in the context of pickup.

It was an Okay article but like almost everything Cracked writes concerning dating and self improvement it was massively pretentious.

Do whatever you want and don't give a fuck what other people think about it. Video games are awesome. So is meeting beautiful women. I see no necessary contradiction between these two.

Thank you. Also, like I said earlier, I still have to post Part 2, and if I do a good enough job there the underlying theme will make sense. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Camus has so many instances in his writing where I look at what he wrote and think to myself 'that sounds a lot like ... seduction material'.

Nah man it's no insult, it's a challenge on my part to improve. I probably tend to get to 'jargon-y' and make my sentences overly clunky. Thanks for the feedback, next entry I will try to incorporate that.

What kind of writing do you mean? Is it how I'm commenting on specific sentences of Camus or is it how I word and structure my own sentences?

I know about Simone De Beauvoir and Jean Paul Sartre's interesting relationship, though not in great depth. Definitely going to give that article a read through tomorrow. I find myself more and more believing that Polyamory is preferable for human romantic relationships than Monogamy. And I've just been reading quite a bit about PostModernism. It's interesting, I find that it starts from a similar position as the Absurdism which Camus outlines but then reaches many different conclusions.

Well keep in mind this is only Part 1 of 2. My thesis, if you'd like to call it that, is that many of the core tenets of Seduction can be found in past literature and that I feel this adds strength to the case that seduction is not 'tricking' women, which is an accusation I oftentimes see thrown at our community. These are methods of action that thinkers far before our community came to be, like Camus, have carried out and advocated. I will elaborate more so in Part 2.

I love this. Going to have to try this out with some friends this weekend.
