5	Consent? No we don't. None of my friends do, either. And I'm American. We like our partners to feel everything and for there to be as much penis as possible. We also don't want it to be dry and painful (circumcision removes mucous membranes and the natural gliding action of the penis, among a LOT more things). We like sex as nature intends. 3	Consent? But it is not routine to cut off a functioning finger on every infant. It is rare to be born with extra fingers. The correct equivalency would be if no one was born with a foreskin, but someone was every 10,000 or so births. Then, if the foreskin wasn't erogenous tissue like it is, we would find almost no one would oppose removing it. 1	A newborn bled to death from a routine circumcision yesterday in Texas. The donation page was edited but originally said it was from circumcision complications. I saw the donation page when it said this, and there are screenshots of it but now it just says "complications". 5	The Guardian: Infant male circumcision is genital mutilation. I'm sorry, man. Morals are whack. My boyfriend isn't cut (more likely because it would have cost his parents more money rather than for moral reasons), but they had no problem with declawing their cat. Which would have cost money. Personally I think it was for moral reasons and like his mother told me they "arent Jewish". Is sexual sensation socially considered more important more women than men? Well yeah it does. I'm an intactivist, don't worry, I despise circumcison. But what I thought you were saying is this isn't typical, but they were just making the equivalent comparison. Even if you made a "typical vs. typical" comparison both would look absolutely terrible. But you're right that this isn't typical vs. typical since usually more is removed from females, but that much removed from males is about correct. 2	Feminist whines that the real problem with Brock Turner's "light" sentence is it forced feminists to agitate for a law change that will primarily affect minorities. Shotgun, check! Foot, check! Ah, yes, because being angry at someone for at the very least sexually assaulting someone is oversensitive lol. I'm not even very into this case, because I'm usually more interested in the hundreds of women who assault men and get away with it without any sort of slap on the wrist. But it blew up and I know that sexual assault, or rape, in any case is fucking wrong. 5	Obama calls for end to female genital mutilation in Africa while US has highest rates of male circumcision It used to be extremely high in the 80s and 90s, somewhere between 80-90%. I could probably source that, too. But yeah, it's still above 50%, but barely. And it's mostly done on the east coast now, while on the west coast it's pretty rare. At least from what I've noticed.
