18	Study finds that female directors discriminate against female playwrights , while males rate "exactly the same" regardless of gender I can't speak in general terms, but when my wife goes for any interviews, the thing that worries her the most is that the interviewer would be female. She says that they make the interviews all about them and not about her, and some of them display an almost territorial aggression. She actually looks forward to being interviewed by a man. 5	According to Google Search, the streets are 100% safe for men, and men are the evil perpetrators of street harassment everywhere. I am an Indian guy. Before my first trip to the UK, people who had been there warned me "Beware of white teenage girls in groups. If you see them, just cross the road and walk on the other side. They can be nasty". She could have let it go but I think she was trying to establish where the channel stood on this - that is, a man speaking to a woman in a raised voice. The man's mistake (I will not call it an offence) was that his voice was too loud when he said "will you please let me answer the question?". There were no offensive words uttered at any point (by the man). Hindi like some languages has multiple words for "you" - and he was using "aap" which is the correct way of addressing someone formally or politely. He has done nothing enough to deserve this. 3	Tougher rape law leading to increase in false cases? A senior woman lawyer, said, "It's sad but true". In India females making false allegations of rape is at epidemic levels. Yep, shit happens here. But you are generalizing too much. For the record, I am an adult Indian male and I haven't the slightest inclination to rape anyone. Or spit on them for that matter. I am surprised this article has turned up in the Times of India. The paper is extremely successful commercially but they are like the Indian Daily Mail. They usually tend to pander to whatever the majority opinion is likely to be, and that is in cases where they even bother to take a stand.
