yes but most of the hobbies in the present times have stemmed from past traditions. Men go for fishing, hiking, mootorcycle rides, trucking around, driving sports cars, while women go for stitching, knitting, baking, cooking! How many women do you see weightlifting, how many men do you see go for knitting? And it's not like women cant do mental work, there are many women scientists, heck the new moon mission in my country was headed by two women.

the initial argument was that women dont have hobbies and now we've shifted to type of hobbies. men have more physical strength so it makes sense going biking etc (which doesnt require a lot of strength tbh). Which mental hobbies do men choose that make them superior? Maths isnt a hobby and art does require mental work. Women hardly drive trucks around because it was never traditionally a woman's work.

All these things except for the first are more or less manly things. Women who do these things are called "manly" by other females. Similarly when men do things that are womanly and looked down upon. Women do a lot of other things such as knitting, arts and crafts, cooking different dishes, baking, going to dance classes, reading etc all these are traditional but can be called as hobbies and interests too. Some women in cities and metropolitan areas do break the traditional roles and go biking a…
