I'd definitely stop texting her for a while and see if she texts back. What to do after, hopefully an expert on here helps.

Why does it sound like a joke? Well I am not too experienced, so I'd take the first point with a pinch of salt, however it doesn't appear dumb or anything . The second one seems quite believable.

Please do, it won't hurt to have new friends. You need a good social scene to have the most fun. There's no doubt about that, at least that's what I have learnt. My hs close friends found that social circle in their own colleges, and still remain close to me and our group. So it's possible.

I am a young adult. And I met my closest friends in high school. When I moved to my college campus, away from them, I still made new friends but not a proper social group who I'd love to say are very close to me. I felt I didn't need anyone because I already had these guys. And that was a mistake..but nevertheless, i still made great friends there. The HS friends still remain the closest ones to me. But I realised that we need to start afresh if we move somewhere else. It is possible to have dif…

Do you also plan the call? Like "Is it cool if I call you before "__day" just to confirm the plan with you?" Or do you just abruptly call her the day before the date, around a time when she should be free..?

The balls to approach a group and try to get one of the girls number from the group. Wow. I would feel so self conscious if there was anyone around the girl, hell I'd feel weird just to hit on a girl who's by herself and have some other random person around her hear me hitting on her. Amazing courage man.

My friend gave me an advice for this, and it worked like a charm on my date. Just don't stop talking man. Like, don't stop at all. Say anything, doesn't matter if it's silly too. You just don't want silences. I was hesitant too, but I did it and voila, had my first date without any silences. And it went well, spoke for like 2 hours lmao. Important note: I am not an expert in 'gaming' at all. But yeah, this could be a great solution.

Just to be clear, when you say we should only text her that when we make it clear that we'd setting up a date, so when we ask for the number from someone, we tell them right then that we'd take them out on a date sometime and ask over text right? Or just get the number, after a short intro, and then text asking about a date first?

What's the social circle game? Meeting through a hot chick through your group of friends?

People have already asked something similar to this but, let's say you start making an eye contact with her, you also smirk. So how long should it be? Imagine a situation where you're sitting at one end of the bar and she's at the other, or any other setting/event too. Do you look at her for about 5-10 seconds and then talk to someone/do something else and then again look at her and keep that going? Or you look at her and only look away when she looks away? When would it start being creepy?

I am not experienced in any way but what if OP isn't looking for a relationship..? And something casual, could also be she's in an open relationship. Things could work for him if he's looking for anything other than a serious commitment

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
