Traditional conservatives are just as bad in their own way.

Nietzsche was a first rate genius who's work stands the test of time. There's no doubt about that. I have read his work. Many times. I'm calling him a simp based on Walter Kaufmann's account of his life. Stop being so fragile over nothing.

50s. Also, I believe he caught his syphilis from a prostitute. Either way, he was a bit of a simp.

I finished reading this a couple of weeks ago and strongly recommend it. It's a pretty quick read as well. Very readable. Much more so than his book on Nietzche.

Not sure how old he is, but the article states hes under 16. Lindsey Banta Jarvis was busted having a sexual relationship with a student under the age of 16 — a relationship that was discovered only after police found information on the kid’s phone.

No, I read the article. THEY didn't call it rape. They called it a sexual relationship. The charge the woman received was rape. There's a difference.

"Sexual relationship with a student under the age of 16" if only there was a phrase for that..... The title calls it a hookup.

"Marry, and you will regret it; don’t marry, you will also regret it; marry or don’t marry, you will regret it either way. Laugh at the world’s foolishness, you will regret it; weep over it, you will regret that too; laugh at the world’s foolishness or weep over it, you will regret both. Believe a woman, you will regret it; believe her not, you will also regret it… Hang yourself, you will regret it; do not hang yourself, and you will regret that too; hang yourself or don’t hang yourself, you’ll …

For sure. And before that there was redlining and before that was Jim Crow, and before that was slavery. After Nixon was Reagan with Iran-Contra and trafficking crack/cocaine to the inner city. After that was Clinton with the prison industrial complex. I just think its wrong to say the government waved food stamps in front of black people and that ruined the family unit.

Your initial hypothesis is factually incorrect. Its been proven that the Nixon administration set out to destroy the black family and that was the catalyst for the change in the black family, not food stamps. The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana …

I think its wrong to describe what TRP advocates for as "self-improvement." There are ways to maximize your happiness that aren't directly related to maximizing your SMV.

Fair enough. I guess it tends to matter when there is a question of whether or not a behavior can be learned.

How much of this attitude is nature vs nurture? Its drilled into men's heads at an early age that the world doesn't give a shit about them so they must make something of value and contribute. But there is also a part of us that is just naturally curious and loves to tinker. It would explain the interest in science as its basically the frontier of tinkering.

This post actually captures the default nature of men pretty well. I very much identify with this mindset. Being around other men with this mindset is awesome as well.

I don't have a problem with a female lead character. What I have a problem with is a female lead character who has literally no flaws because they're trying to push some woman empowerment bullshit agenda. Having Rey start off as an absolute boss at literally everything she ever does is just fucking stupid and uninteresting. Its beyond transparent whats going on in the franchise.

I'm done with the JRE after this. Joe was being absolutely ridiculous in his reasoning. The bit about making general statements was just dumb. His blatant disregard for the power of the feminist lobby was very surprising. Lost a little bit of respect for Milo with the circumcision thing as well.

If you're a politician and you do not support 3rd wave feminism, you're basically dead in the water.

When I first saw this comment, it was +4, and when I made my earlier reply, after about an hour or so it was at +9ish. Now its at -2. The comment by /u/dragondan was about +4 when I replied, and now is at +19. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I'm not an MRA, but I do stop by every once in a while to see what's up. I think that the OP was right, there may be some outside people trying to influence what is seen in this sub. I can't really see how the voting in this situation would have swayed…

I'm not an MRA but I disagree. The sooner people realize our society has a problem with gynocentrism the sooner something can be done about it. There is a massive compassion gap in the genders and its simply a matter of which set of reproductive organs you have. EDIT: After mulling it over I realize you may have been speaking to the tone/language. If that's the case, I still disagree, but understand where you are coming from.

I just love how all the article titles are: "FSU QUARTERBACK HITS WOMAN!!!" when they should read: "Woman strikes FSU quarterback and he returns the favor"

I understand where you are coming from, but if shes old enough to bring a child into this world, then she's old enough to take care of herself. Its not my, nor any other man's, responsibility to look after some broad and her seed. If she is my alleged equal, then I see no need to yield to her simply because of shame.

Is it possible to be a feminist and a mgtow at the same time? I think it is. No, it most definitely is not possible. At its core, feminism is just the exploitation of humanity's innate gynocentrism. If you support this, then you aren't MGTOW. Thats the line. I'm in a very serious relationship and I think the experience of love is well worth the associated risks. This is another one of those lines. You're not MGTOW. EDIT: Dude you support feminism and you're basically saying marriage is worth the…

Yes, for a group that likes to spout how enlightened we all are, I believe there should be less whiny bitches. That answers both your questions. "fuck off you prick" exactly my point. You feel that MGTOW should whine less? Why? You never even gave a reason. You said it accomplishes nothing. Thats the entire point. A large part of MGTOW is just that, not trying to accomplish shit with respect to society. We aren't out to change the world (necessarily). We are rejecting the traditionalist and gyno…

Too many MGTOWs (yes most of you in this sub) are whiny babies who as he states 'want to watch the world burn'. There's too many? As in, there should be less? According to who? Even if MGTOW wanted to watch the world burn, what the fuck do you care? Do you have some investment in the status quo? Fuck I am sick of the negativity in this subreddit. Then fuck off you prick.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Al91Xbg_3s But seriously, if he can't see why marriage is a raw deal, and is entertaining not talking to you simply because his girlfriend disagrees with you, he's too far gone. Half of all marriages end in divorce, and 75% of divorces are initiated my women. If he gets married in spite of this, and cuts you out of his life, then he deserves everything he gets.

One of the greatest songs of all time by Bobby Womack. Handled like a man instead of a mangina: She's always complaining 'bout me never being at home But when I'm there, I'm broke She's telling me 'bout the things that her girlfriends' got What she ain't got, and she wants me to go out and get em for her But girl, I can't be in two places at one time If you think you're lonely now, Wait until tonight girl

That's the great thing about MGTOW. You now get to discover those things instead of worshiping false idols (marriage, pussy, career). You get to decide where you go and what you do. You may have never truly thought about your own happiness before, so it might take some time to discover but the journey is worth it. Here are some things I would suggest looking into: -Fitness and nutrition -Martial Arts -Sciences -Languages/Linguistics -Meditation/Mindfulness -Money/Finance/Investing (personal or o…

Recognizing that their identity isn't tied to women. Realizing the amazing things that men are capable of. Learning that women aren't above reproach. Start putting themselves ahead of others. Realizing that they are more than disposable objects.

I basically nofap (minus all the delusions of superpowers and all that) and find myself desiring women less. They have become less sexualized the longer I go without porn/masturbation. Outside of that, I meditate, consciously exercise willpower, and go through deep internal dialogs on why I know I should suppress these desires. Logic tends to win out. /u/drkstrs describes something similar to what I do in this thread. When all else fails, I give myself a swift fist to the chest and remind myself…
