Mostly casual relationships and almost relationships that I messed up by having poor communication skills (working on it and in therapy now :) )

Thanks so much. This was really insightful and gave me a lot to think about. I’m currently trying to work on the feminine parts of myself / SMV to be able to attract the high value men you’re referring to that want younger girls. It is really hard The guy that I’m currently hung up on is a year older and left me for a girl that is a few years younger than me but is essentially me so it’s been rough

Very insightful thanks! Are the woman who are excelling career wise but average looking screwed and unable to get the males at the top of the hierarchy in some ways?

He’s not really these things I’d say. He’s actually very well educated. Is looked up to for how graceful, smart and a good leader he is. Definitely not any of these things. It’s why j was attracted to him. I thought we had a lot in common in the way of us both being go getter alpha types (while I am a female though).

I’m very well known by many people and so is he. He also had a crush on a super hot female friend of mine who I’m sure liked him too but apparently he rejected her back in the day. I don’t understand why he would sleep with me knowing it could get back to her too if he wanted her instead of me

We hook up though. And then he told me he’s emotionally unavailable but wants to stay good friend s

I see what you mean, makes sense. This one guy in particular though has never slept with anyone outside of a real relationship (besides me now) and friendzoned me after we slept together basically, saying he’s emotionally unavailable

Hey thank you so much for the frank answer and taking the time to look into my other posts. I actually really appreciate this perspective and think you’re mostly right! Mostly spot on other than that I’m actually not that flighty/ irresponsible and the paradox of the fact that I work in leadership roles in a completely different field while simultaneously being artsy tends to attract high value guys (initially. Then they lose interest for some reasons like I said). I also type as ENFP or INFJ bu…

I am def motherly and protective (but I thought guys liked that in some sense?) And I get called cute all the time and beautiful sometimes. Rarely hot, once in awhile.

The thing is they always seem to be interested in being more than friends at first. That’s why I think it’s something about my personality that turns them off

I see what you mean! But I guess what I also mean is that I’m not sure about my confidence/ who I should bother with . Like sometimes I don’t have the confidence to approach guys I like because it’s my default to assume they wouldn’t like me back but then in some cases I’ve been completely wrong about that and they actually have I don’t want to sell myself short by not bothering to pursue the men I’m crazy about because I assume they’re higher SMV / rmv then me but also don’t want to get alpha w…

Hmm, I wonder if it’s just people who haven’t been through a lot of rough stuff family/ upbringing wise that have this mindset? I’d never judge a dude or girl for coming from a broken family, in fact if his/her character is strong I’d probably even admire them more for having the strength to overcome that adversity. Personally, cause I’ve seen my parents pitfalls and how bad it gets, Im extra careful about making sure my marriage lasts / am more mindful

Out of curiosity , why does her parents being married 25+ years have any relevance? I come from a completely broken home , do you believe girls who come from situations they didn’t choose like that are less morally fit? Not attacking you , genuine curiosity. I’m wondering if dudes actually judge me based on my parents toxic marriage / divorce... anyone else besides OP feel free to answer this too

Thanks for the responses folks but it’s really not that serious lol. Just wondering what people have spent money on that they’ve felt was a great investment for their persona growth, beauty / confidence. :) thank you both!
