I get linked to every article regarding this and here I go again. I have discussed this in R/Feminism and I will discuss it here. Canada is a cold and wet country for the most part, and it is not easy to to grow grass that can take the beating it will get. That is why all buy 1 stadium they are playing in is already using turf. It would be in no way fair for them to rip it up for this short term event. Even if they did they would end up with grass that would be so trashed by the end of the event…

I am with you. Happy I was circumcised as an infant, and my sons will be the same. The foreskin most likely came about through our evolution in the sense the penis needed a layer of protection around the glans, since they did not have proper clothing and were constantly exposed to the elements. But now, with proper clothing and climate controlled housing, the foreskin will probably evolve away.

No because they do not care about whether a statement is true or not. Try telling them they are wrong and you'll have hundreds calling you a patriarchal pig trying to oppress them and discredit them with lies. Look at all the false information they spew forth and never correct. The public give them a pass for fear of being attacked.

Sue them, sue the girl, sue anyone who gave false testimony. Have your lawyer make all the contacts, and document, with video and audio if legally allowed, any contact they try and have without outside of your lawyer.

No, it is not good. Feminists do not care about facts or logic. If it fits with there mood for that day, they will scream it from the rooftops. If an MRA group came out as being pro-puppy dogs, then you can bet feminists would chat anti-puppy dog slogans. You cant fix stupid, you can only ignore it.

I once had a girl at starbucks try and be passive aggressive and she wrote white man on my cup. When i read that I asked for the manager right away and her face hit the floor. So I showed the manager and she fired the girl on the spot. She left crying screaming the patriarchy was keeping her down.

Be careful openly supporting equal rights for all, especially around feminists is asking for trouble. Soon they will change their chant from #killallmen to #killallnonfeminists. I am actually sickened by the fact there exists a twitter trend for #killallmen. People are even selling T-Shirts with that slogan.

A 14 year old is fully capable of deciding who they want to live with. There is no reason a court should force this young man( Or young lady should that be the case) to live with a parent they do not wish too. The only reason a court should be deciding is if there is proof the child will not be safe in the home they choose to live in. But that parent should be given a chance to find another living situation to make it work.

Time to find a new girlfriend. I have read you defending her, but this is something deep rooted in her brain. She will not change. She may listen, she may even stop arguing with you, hell she may even start agreeing, but that will be a cover. I had a friend that went through this. He thought he could fix crazy, but you can not. When she is with her fellow feminists, she will bash every word you've said, she will tell them everything you said and they will begin making you the bad guy. They will …

Let us not forget that the Mayor Of London, England was almost separated from HIS OWN KIDS. "The most high profile victim of the policy was politician (and later London Mayor) Boris Johnson, who criticised the company after staff mistakenly attempted to separate him from his own children on a flight. He stated that those who create or defend such policies "fail to understand the terrible damage that is done by this system of presuming guilt in the entire male population just because of the tende…

Yes I guess that no talking thing is an American thing. I am Canadian as well and anytime I have sat on a train the first thing that happens is everyone around me, man woman or child begins politely talking to you. Helps the ride go quick. I guess every male in the USA gets treated like a public masturbating rapist. Thank god I live in Canada, and will never go to the USA.

First off it is not the act of circumcission that is the issue, it is the fact that a baby can not consent to the procedure in the first place. If it only took place when a man was old enough to understand what it is and what happens and then decides for themselves then you would never here the issue brought up ever again. And it is not us vs them. If you notice the picture it does not speak about womens rights in a negative light, it mearly draws attention to the unequal rights men receive.
/r/MensRights28/04/14 02:16 PM

This post is not about womens rights or attempting to change those. And you are right this is mainly a USA problem. This post is to show the inequality men face, and it is to draw attention to issues some people may not even realize face men. That is all. It was never meant to be anti-female at all.
/r/MensRights28/04/14 01:26 PM

As a non-american, it is my understanding that things like this vary from state to state. Some states a woman can get free birth control, others they must pay a small fee, as seems to be your case as indicated below
/r/MensRights28/04/14 11:52 AM

In the USA at least, it seems like the female is in control when it comes to decisions about children. I am talking about the fact women can divorce men and receive full custody at virtually any time they want. In the USA, it seems like only under very extreme circumstances will a man be given full custody, while a woman is virtually guaranteed to get custody with little to no fight what-so-ever. It is at this point that the father is basically cut out of the loop of parenting their child, only …

You are correct. My title should read Why we need to stand together, no matter where we are. If I could change it I would. I am glad to see not every woman has drank the kool-aid, and that some realize that the modern radical feminist movement masquerading as being representative of all feminist movements, means not fighting for equal rights for all, just fighting for rights for woman and removing rights for men.

That was not my intent. My intent was to show that men have many issues to deal with, and that it is important to stand together.

That is why I asked for context on the situation. But I have never seen or heard of people being questioned when showing up at a park with children, hence why I wanted more information.
/r/MensRights27/04/14 10:47 PM

In what context? Did you just walk up to a child and start talking to them? If I saw a fully grown person regardless of their gender walk up to my child and start talking to them I would be suspicious myself. I guess it is all about your looks and how you interact with them. There also needs to be some common sense. You would not walk into a park and start handing out ice cream cones to kids, but I have been in the local ice cream shop in my town many times when friendly people and their kids ar…

Great. So you were a good kid who had good parents who taught them well. How much do you want to bet that the woman who is commenting on only want their kids to receive first class service at coach prices, while only sitting next to an adult female (Who, by the way, abuse children as well) would have taught their kid its ok to express themselves verbally and be who they are while not caring about those around them.

The second it would cost her 1 penny more, she would be freaking out and threatening to sue. But this is more likely a case of nut job over protective parent. The same type of parent who doesnt vaccinate their kids and homeschools them. Unfortunately those exist anywhere. And the child suffers because of it.

While I do not like the discrimination part, I do like the not having to sit beside an unattended minor. Kids on planes are bad enough with parents there, imagine a kid without one there. Now this is just one airline, in Australia. And this problem seem to happen in the USA the most. There is some mass hysteria that all men are rapists/child rapists. In Canada I have never seen a single person who thinks like this. Here in Canada men do not get looked at as evil when they interact with a child w…

This is why we need mandatory sentencing for filing a false police report. A minimum of 12 months in jail. It will not stop all the false reports but it will cut down on them.

Thank you. I have some medical training, not as much as you obviously, and I agree. There is not as much damage as one would see when getting punched in the face. Until we know the truth, we wont know for sure, but if I was a gambling man I would say she slipped and fell, bit down and chipped a tooth and had some swelling and she saw it as something she could use. Shame the papers took the bait instead of waiting for more information.

Most of my comments have always been if it is genuine then it should be prosecuted, but if she is lying then she should be prosecuted. Saying that on most comment section gets hateful comments from feminists saying how I am trying to keep women down and that I am victim blaming. Yet when others and myself defend it and make intelligent arguments like the fact wasting police time is taking time that could be spent on real victims, I get called a rape apologist or even a pro-rapist. There is no evidence in this case full stop. But all the papers happily jumped on what she said without checking anything out. Now it seems to have disappeared. A few article links I had saved redirect to 404 page not found errors now so I have had to delete a few and basically have the one I posted and the CBC one. I think its important not to let this go until we have the final answers. Just my opinion is all.

I am not trying to say she planned it, more along the lines she slipped and fell and decided to use it to her advantage. With the things she says and honestly believes, I am not sure she possesses the necessary intelligence level to plan something like this.

Honest truth I have seen injuries like that before. A friend of mine slipped on ice a few years back and got very similar injuries, including a chipped front tooth. Getting punched in the mouth several times, with enough force to chip a tooth would wreck someones lips, at least minor lacerations.

So she posts stupid feminist lies on Twitter, both men and women call her out on her stupid crap and make fun of her for believing it and now she has PTSD? What a joke. It belittles all people who have real cases of PTSD. Never knew anyone with PTSD to continue doing the things that trigger it, yet she keeps on typing away on Twitter. I am glad to see she is going to jail, but I doubt this will help stop women from reporting a false rape. How many actually see the inside of a cell. Most get probation or fines. Problem is, if a country actually instituted mandatory 12 month sentences for false accusations, feminists would scream bloody murder at how it will repress women and prevent women from reporting and patriarchy blah blah blah. The fact is the thought of a mandatory sentence for false reporting will help stop some of tho…

Being too drunk too consent must be a two way street. If both parties were drunk, then neither party could consent, and either both parties should be charged with raping the other, or neither party should be charged. I would hate to be a university student in North America right now, the kangaroo court system universities have require no proof and judgement seems to be made before you even show up to make your case.

Sorry but yahoo answers link was a joke. Not only his is question a personal one with no link to any facts, one answer talks about fuminists, which he spells wrong not once but a bunch of times. Actual experience within the Family court system. Both as someone who my parents fought over with my dad winning custody, and as an adult helping my friend win custody of his kids, which he did as well. You are right it is very much like Kangaroo court and the burden of proof is much much lower then other court systems. But I have seen the changes first hand from when I was a kid until now. First off I would be more then welcoming to any articles you can provide that shows that a married woman legally adopted out her child. So you really believe that he has 0 personal responsibilities for the consequences of his actions? I am not saying he should be forced to be a part of the childs life, I have always maintained the he has every right to never see his child, but he does have the responsibility to help financially support that child.
/r/MensRights01/04/14 02:50 AM
2

Again I will say I have actual experience with the legal system. Impression is everything. A person who is actively not paying his child support even though he has a job will see the judge garnish his wages as there is evidence he will continue to not pay. A person who is infact paying, regardless of whether it is the full amount, shows the intent that he is paying and doing his best to do so. If the mother drags him in to court and he has been paying what he can, he can use this as evidence at …

Only in cases where the guy did not know he was the father and was not listed on the birth certificate of the child. You are correct when a man finds out after the adoption goes through that he is the father, it is a long expensive legal battle to gain custody.
/r/MensRights01/04/14 01:47 AM

First off the mother does not "get the baby back", it means if the child is in foster care, the mother can begin a plan to work towards possibly getting her child back. And the 2 years I spent studying law was actually the prelude to the police foundations degree I got. I know the legal system and have actually seen it in action. More and more men are gaining custody, and child support is being awarded to men more often. Men plead no contest for many reason, you can not say it is because a lawye…

In order to put a child up for adoption both parents must consent to it, at least here in Canada. Again not sure how the US is.

I am Canadian, and I am not sure how things work down there, but I have seen the justice system here. Child support is not dependent on whether you are married or not (Not 100% certain in the USA a man can not get child support if he wasnt married to her) Up here if a someone abandons their child, they will not just get the child back, especially if the other parent wants custody after the first parent abandoned the child. Up here I would say custody is given pretty even as the courts tend to ha…

Abortion is her decision, adoption is a joint right, both parents must consent to it and should she use a safe haven law he has the right to gain custody and I am not sure but what I have read he would have the right to sue for child support as well.
/r/MensRights31/03/14 07:51 PM

My using the term her rights was in relation to abortion. They both have responsibilities when it comes to their child, and that is to take care of the child and make sure all its needs are met. He has every right not to want to be a part of the childs life or the childs mothers life, but he still has the responsibility to help financially support his child. Adoption is a joint right they have together, and should she drop a child off under the safe haven law, he has the right to receive custody…

Nor is there data showing what percent of men pay alimony or child support. I found one website that claims 15% of child support payments are made by women but as I could not verify anything said, I will not use it as a source as it could just be someones guess. Running away to Canada will not work, we deport Americans back to the states very easily. One hearing, no appeal for a US citizen and back the same day. The only way you would not be sent back right away is if you were charged with a capital crime. Canada will not extradite anyone to face the death penalty. The state would have to issue a guarantee the death penalty is off the table.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Step one of your plan is somehow he gets money without leaving the house. And if he doesnt pay, the court will just garnish his wages and take what they want. Hell the court can seize his account and take every penny to pay his debt. The smarter plan is paying what he can afford to pay, regardless of whether or not it is the amount set forward, it shows the court he is acting in good faith, and will buy him goodwill in the court and will allow him to …

Forcing a child? He chose to have sex, un-protected, and he knocked a girl up. She had the child. It is 50% his. If the mother had of given him the child and told him to take care of it he would be getting child support from her (Do not say it does not happen, it happens all the time). The idea that he would run away leaving his child just so he doesn't have to pay any money to help this girl raise the child is the dumb. Listen you were old enough to have sex without protection of any kind, now you are a father. You have a responsibility to your child. I am unsure of your state laws but pay your ex whatever you can financially afford so you can show you are making a good faith effort. Exactly. So in my opinion its in your best interest to communicate through your lawyer that you do not think an increase in child support to supplement her income is appropriate. If she decides to drag you back to court, keep all the communications you have had with her (Hopefully text messages, paper letters or through legal council) so you can show the judge what she is trying to do, and then offer the court the option that your child come to live with you, and that would give your ex time to …

Seems unfair to use you and your payments for child support to raise her income and help her buy a house. Child support payments are not meant to "be income" for someone, it is to make sure your child gets proper food, clothes, activities etc. I have a big problem with the idea she will divert the money from your child in order to buy a house. If your child is safe where they are now, and your child support is taking care of your childs needs, there is no reason to change that just because her a…

I have many questions. Why is it when Mens Rights Groups wish to hold public events, or host guest speakers at events, it is considered perfectly okay for feminist groups to show up and protest and disrupt it and verbally and physically assault the people wishing to go, both men and women (I have been to some and have been hit in the face with a bottle thrown by feminist protesters) yet switch it around and if it were MRA protesting a feminist event you would label it hate speech. Damn it guys, this is the second story I have had to read about an underage guy raping a pedophile. First the 8 year old and now this 13 year old. When the hell are we going to get on top of this, because, as we have all heard feminists shouting loud and proud, only men can rape.

I did not have to be taught not to rape, I heard the definition of rape and knew it was wrong for ANYONE to do. The thing that stuck with me most was an episode of Law&Order SVU called Ridicule (Season 3 Episode 10). It deals specifically with a man being raped, and the stigma and ridicule that men get when they report they have been raped.
