she misses the point on purpose, the reality would mean she has to accept her portion of the blame for the way men are treated.

well said, even as I sit here in the absence of everyone I can empathize with the surrounded by people but lonely situation. All the same, beggars cannot be choosers except where women are concerned.

I didn't mean any offense. If you could point to where I've struck a nerve I'll avoid it in the future. I responded in kind because it's my opinion that you act stupid on purpose in order to detract from the premise that isn't as easy to poke holes in. No, I do not think gaming rigs attract women. The components that feature LEDs are often similarly priced or cheaper than the components that look more "serious" all while still being the top of line in terms of performance. When the LED trends st…

ask yourself this, do those expensive tastes come with utility or do they come with status? I can build a fast Miata for pennies on the dollar compared to the Porsche and gaming setups are expensive because the best stuff is expensive. If the expensive things are bought with status in mind my guess is they bought them to attract potential partners. I'm not much for travel so please excuse me if I ignore that point : )

I’m engaged, so yeah I’ve dated people. And I spend time alone with my friends. I do special things to show I care for my friends. I learn about my friends. I’m vulnerable with my friends. I’m trusting of my friends. The only thing I don’t do with my friends that I do with my fiance is get naked

you just spent several hours explaining to the guy above me that you have the exact same level of relationship with your fiancé and your friends with sex being the only differentiating factor. what changed from now and when you were arguing with him lol? I'm not following your bait, answer my question or I'm not engaging any longer.

how is this a battle worth fighting? your message basically boils down to this: do everything and even if it doesn't work out you shouldn't be upset. That's not even where it ends either, you could do all the things and she might go fuck your friend who did none of the things you're talking about or worse, you put all that energy into her and she works out that energy elsewhere lol. At some point you have to hold people accountable for the horrible fucking shit they do every day! that's life for…

right so, the difference between your fiancé and your friends is that your fiancé is your primary emotional support. what is it like having zero self-awareness?

you actually are saying that your friends are equally as close to you as your partner is. maybe you've found a unicorn but I can't think of any monogamous people in my life that would be comfortable with the situation you're describing. If my girlfriend shared truly intimate moments with other men and if she started to go to other men with her issues and cried on other men's shoulders I think most people would assume the days are numbered in that relationship. I don't think the majority of peopl…

I got to meet a Persian cat today, never seen one in person, I think he was more attractive than I am. how do I compete with such a classy little guy?? checks out tbh, I accept defeat on this topic.

I'm not sure I care much about random women in general but my sister is not okay, she is miserable and I love her. I care. the same for cousins and aunts and my mother, for a time. You'll also observe that I am not part of this group who wishes karmic justice on others for coming to their own conclusions. Your OP and all of your combative questions speaks to your own misery, which is why I said you were projecting in the first place.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 07:05 PM

This is delusion, friend. The women you're talking about are only a small insignificant portion of the population. Most of the women in my life are very hurt that a potentially fine young man like yourself doesn't approach them more often.

I am the man I am describing. I could not have been more clear, NO WOMAN IS THE OPPRESSOR!! holy fuck. it's like talking to a fucking wall and expecting comprehension. A very small number of men can be held accountable for almost everything, women do not own the infrastructure or media, they do not produce the goods we use every day or control the products on the shelves or the messages that come across our various screens every day, that would be men who are rich operating out of their own self…

are you being intentionally obtuse? the amount of men who have no friends is a marginal group. the completely anti-social shut in is a statistical outlier, to those 15% I don't know if there is a solution. for those who lack the skills to even make a friend, I think their life is not worth living and I don't know how to even begin to help them, I really wish I did! But to tell a man who has close friends, hobbies and passions, it is cruel for you to tell them they deserve to be lonely and they s…

you do not know me yet you make so many assumptions. what makes you such an authority on what or how I love? You are definitely not one of the women I love. Bordering on narcissism to even assume you're part of that group. I will not pretend every man has good intentions nor have they put any effort into the things you feel are important, but to say they're "adamantly opposed" to putting effort into themselves is such a horrible thing to assume especially when it's often times the exact opposite…

There is no worse, you need to understand that everyone is going to suffer unless we can make a change and loneliness is just the tip of the iceberg. This isn't a men versus women fight. It's a humans against oppressors fight.

you label yourself a concerned woman, but consider the implication of what you're saying. many of the people you're telling to find fulfillment outside of sex and relationships are already living their best lives. The only thing left to do for them is to find someone to share it with, what are they to do? research shows 1 in 4 men have 0 close friends and yet almost 3 out of 4 males between ages 18 and 29 are single. that means the majority of these men are, in fact, normal as fuck. It's not a p…

I'm in the process of dealing with the deep scars, I almost killed myself because I didn't understand why it was that I was working so much harder than my peers with nothing to show for it outwardly. the gaslighting and manipulation every time I bring up my issues to loved ones is the toughest thing and I can't seem to get over that hump. I've since cut off any and all delusional people who will not listen to reason, it's a lonely road but if anybody can succeed it will be me. If somebody could …

the biggest issue in my life is my dead beat, violent, drug addicted father and a mother that can't be reasoned with. I think if I were born into a functional family I wouldn't be discussing this today.

I've had a few men who acted as great role models. There are women in my life that are also very good role models but something about me tends to rub them the wrong way in the end. I don't always understand why.

yes of course if my only objective in life was to procreate I would have done it by now lmao. That doesn't take into consideration any body else but myself. it's a poor way to carry yourself through life and I'd rather be suffer than make a choice like you're describing. lol

yes honey, before this technological revolution, labor paid enough money to support an entire family on just that income alone. now you're lucky if your labor can pay your bills. fucking ridiculous ass paragraph to type when you've missed the fucking dot so far. the long and the short of it is this, if men who are working just as hard as their father's and grandfather's still had the same amount of buying power today, we wouldn't have a problem with men being boring uninteresting slobs who sit a…

I think what he's saying is that, if you were born into a couch surfing single mom with accountability issues, it's sort of reasonable to blame your lack of sexual experience on your parent's or perhaps women if you're misguided like I was. The most sound advice anybody can give is to get your shit in order before you start dating, it's the first step of any self help guide worth reading. I certainly wouldn't begin to tell that person that they should just look on the bright side, or that life i…

I think you're interpreting it in such a way that you think I'm saying you either do what they say or they'll make you. That isn't the case, I'm simply pointing out that there is a price to everything we do, to include doing nothing. You can't avoid the consequences of actions. In my opinion, it's far more likely that we'll see brothers, sons, nephews, uncles, and fathers killing themselves become the norm before any sort of tyranny.

please take a moment and consider the gravity of what you're asking of people. If you can show me a way to disregard the things I want in life while simultaneously being somebody that people want to be around, I will gladly start today. I drive what I want to drive, I have a good job and a great boss, my coworkers are excellent and supportive. I have hobbies as we've already discussed. I'll be the first to admit that I have no idea what the truth is, maybe I'm not educated enough to discern a credible study from one that is not. but the things those two people chant I can relate with my own lived experience. Speaking to the broader problem, I am not advocating that a bunch of model class women go door to door showing these disillusioned young men the beauty of a woman, but the reality is that if someone isn't wanted they'll probably find a place that they are and right now the…

sorry, I don't know how to use reddit's fancy formatting stuff, but if I may speak from the perspective of a lost young man. it's not that Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson appeal to any of our real problems, they're just not afraid to say that the life of an average man is fucking horrible. for Andrew Tate, the brokies have it rough. For Jordan Peterson, everyone's life is a tragedy. can we at least find common ground in that if all a group with some amount of authority really has to do to captur…

yeah if I can add another anecdote to strengthen this argument, I feel the exact same way. I look left and I look right and the men to my right are not doing as well as the women to my left. Pick a category, education, financial, social...the women are leaving us in the dust and I think where the frustration comes from is that when a guy starts falling behind "the boys" the strong turn back to give the weak a push but in my experience that sentiment never crosses the minds of the women in my lif…

the workers are white because the people who "work in new york" all live there and can afford to pay a skilled, white, American worker that they feel comfortable associating with. new england is just new york's calabasas.

for me it's jonah hill and seth rogan and parks and rec chris pratt probably some similar characters I don't remember. for some in my friend group it's athletes and for some it's the american horror story guy or twilight.
