“Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. Expect nothing.” Expecting the worst kills confidence, makes you talk yourself outta opportunities, and can bring on nervousness/anxiety.

They didn’t. She did. She admitted she lied 50 years later. He was 14.

2 wrongs don’t make a right. Some men rape women. Some women lie about being raped. Change the shirt to say “believe facts”.

Nah bruh. I’m sure there are cases where she controls him, but that’s definitely not the norm. Tool for their sexual fantasies? That may be right, but it’s mutual. So, no complaints here.

This isn’t new. They’ve been throwing the book at black and brown people, male or female. Now, I would’ve been surprised if he had given that same kind of time to a white girl.

That's why you look up to Stallone? You must not now the story behind Rocky. This is why he's my role model. https://youtu.be/vZywfAm7Q9E

Agreed. How many people know his name now? He can write a book about it, consult tech companies, and give talks across the country now.

Small steps. Don't focus on turning your life around, just aim at being a little bit better today than you were yesterday. Trust me. It's definitely possible. You'll see a difference after 3 months. After a few years, you won't even recognize your old self. Limited social circle? even better. You don't have to worry about losing dead weight or your reputation, common things that impede change.

I'm sure there is some aspect of your current career that you like. That's a good place to start because you already know that you like it and your past experience can count towards your next career.

Stuntman Mike, Kurt Russell's character in Deathproof, gives us perfect examples of holding frame throughout the bar scene. The entire scene is worth watching, but here's a clip (skip to 0:58). https://youtu.be/mILfbvj0xtk

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
