Hey, im about your age (22F) and about two months ago i broke up with my bf (22M) after a 3yr old relationship. I was in a similar situation. Ive been thinking about a breakup since last year and i had been putting in as much effort as possible to make it work but it was all in vain. In the end i had literally told him that I was giving up and if he wanted to save us hed have to reach out and work for it. He didnt... and i ended it. He actually got angry at me when i did what i literally told hi…

No helpfull tips on military men but i have been in a long distance relationship for a while and its really not as bad as people say. If you both care and try it shouldnt be difficult to keep in contact and the flame going!!! Yes there will be "glitches" from time to time but every relationship has that... I was very happy to read that you would spend the time working on yourself. That is, in my opinion, a sign of maturity and growth! He must feel very lucky to have found you! Good luck on your …

Thank you so much! I really needed this type of response as my own feelings TERRAFIED me. Its difficuld discussing this with anybody as one wrong word can give them the wrong impression. ❤❤❤❤❤

I suppose you are right. Hes been having issues with UNI i think id prefer encouraging him to eather change his studies (medicine) or help him get trough this one. Its also distressing to me that this type of study takes more than 10 years to complete (basic strudies+specialisation+intern work) and i cant see us starting a family untill both of us have stable careers. Both my mother and I have had fertility/menstrual cycle issues and Im not sure how its going to affect my own biological clock.

Yes but he had changed as well but in different ways. Maybe if i gave him time he will catch up? Men are allways late to mature compared to women. He seams to have taken what i told him yesterday to heart. I think id like to see what he does with it first.

Neither of us drink nor have ever done drugs. :/ he is however going trough something mentally as he had fallen back behind his friends as when we met he was an ecceptional student. I aggree. He has an important benchmark i wont disclose he needs to achieve by the end of the month. Well se how things develop from there

Oh yes thank you. Im not on birth control but I do have severe emotional and physical changes caused by my cycle. I shall wait to see how this further develops. I dont want to see my loving relationship fall appart because of my personal shortcommings.

My boyfriend and I are lond distance as well. I find it difficult to have actuall deep conversations over facetime or call because its missing that non-verbal aspect and its pretty easy to missunderstand what the person is trying to say. This isnt to say we dont have these conversations. We do, but not as often as we just mess around, make jokes and complain. We call eachother every day and usually just go on with whatever were supposed to be doing with our time during the call. Sometimes we dont…

I agree with what you did. Think of it this way: what you have done might be a catalyst for him to see his behaviour as it is. Its a way for him to get a chance to be a better man and if he takes it or not is on him. He should see his actions have consequences and losing you forever was one of them, so for both his sake and yours dont look back because if you do things will never change. I've seen others ignore similar behaviour only to get stuck in marriges where they could no longer just walk …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
