I know this is a bit off topic from what you've said but it hit a chord. Women have fought and died for the right to work and the right to have the same job opportunities as man and yet men act like having to work and going to a job every day is some big bummer

I think you're being sensible. We can feel shame even if someone is just concerned about us and wants what's best.

Porn sick bastard. Choking is becoming normalised and who would like it? Without consent? Without asking? From someone bigger and stronger than you? I understand some people like it but I feel most women don't and just do it to please men. My ex just started choking me in the middle of sex when we were teens. No asking. Just did it cause he thought I'd like it. Thank god we talk about things like consent now. My children are only small but I've already started talking about what personal space a…

I'm in my mid 30s and I see this too. I think it's getting better because boys are being raised by women with expectations on them and the cultural attitude towards women is changing. Also lots of women aren't taking this shit anymore so it's sink or swim.

This was my point. I love hiking and you're literally pissing outside all day. Where does he piss when he goes for a hike, if you go out into the wilderness there's no plumbing.

It's very neglectful. I have three kids 5 is the eldest and I have a two head old and a one year old. I'm so busy constantly doing housework or teaching them things, or just basic looking after them. I don't know how he's getting away with watching so much TV. Turn it off and sing them a song. Read them a book, build some legos with them. Put some laundry in the machine dickhead!

Not really. I mean you can establish a supply but the child is used to bottles now, he probably won't take the breast and so she'll need to pump which is so much work and so inefficient, especially when she hasn't breast fed in so long she might not even get her milk back at all.

Oh good lord men can fuck off. They hate being called out on their well cultivated BS. Being called a man child for not growing up and demanding your significant other to care for you means you need a legitimate talking to. It's not the same as calling a woman a slut because she enjoys sex. Men are pathetic, they happily demean themselves and the women they're with because they're slovenly arse holes who'd rather die in their own filth than get off their arse. It's why there's no saving so many …

I know I just feel love and sympathy for her. She gives so much and is shown so little. Women need to realise they're worth and give that love to themselves and others who love them rather than wasting it on these pitiless bags of dead flesh sitting on a rotten soul. Men have got to sort out men now. It's clear that they don't want our help, they take our love and just use it selfishly. We can't save them. We can only save ourselves

he was so... Close. Most men aren't worth it so I'll put effort into the things that are. A good man would help you live your dreams and reflect your passion in life instead of demanding you give yourself to them and their comfort (these men are often the worst partners). Notice that men aren't taught to give up their whole life and serve a woman.

I believed this. I was so suspicious of my husband when I first met him cause he was really good looking, fit and was really... Nice? Like genuinely nice. Wtf? Oh wow. I bet it is really exhausting asking women out. Cue my tears. But hey, you know what's also exhausting? Men who only want to play video games and get their dick wet. Low effort no value men who use you as a bang maid, want you to pay 50% or more, do ALL the housework, bear fucking children, and get told that it's too much effort to buy a present for their birthday. But you know, I'll make it easy for you.

You can do positive parenting. I just tell them what I expect and if they don't do that we stop. Ot works pretty well actually. I do yell and reprimand sometimes if they keep pushing me but usually just stopping the fun thing is enough to re-enforce how they should behave. The time you're going to want to shout the most is between two and four where it's pretty much pointless anyway. I liked the book 'calmer, easier, happier parenting' and the website ahaparenting. I dunno you'll only get them rebelling against it. But some days you yell, or get something wrong or make a big deal out of a silly thing. I do think that the most important thing you can give your kids is your time and I'm lucky enough to give that to them... Can't wait for schools to open again though. Now its real success to get a screen free day but they were quite common before. Before school is reading/homework/music then we do some sport/exercise and go to school. There's usually an after school club and then we'll go swimming or to the park. Then we get home and they do homework at the table while I get d…

I have kids and we judt really limit game times. They have a few hours a week with tokens they can "spend" on screen time and the rest of the time is with sport, music, reading and art times. We go for lots of walks and hikes. It's hard work but I just can't let my kids get addicted so early to games. I've seen so many people just waste their lives on games rather than use it as a way to unwind.

This was my ex before I left him. He seemed like a greet guy. He was in a friendship group that took a dislike to me and the narrative was that I was a massive overbearing bitch and he's too mild mannered to stick up for himself. I think any man that's genuinely good to a woman is a HVM. If you don't need them to provide that's fine, or if you do. if you don't want a man to be your best friend that's fine, or it's fine if you do. A HVM shows a woman respect and also respects himself. Some women are okay with doing housework if a guy can fix stuff, some want to split both evenly. That's all fine. I think we just want an end to toxic relationships where the women always sacrifice with nothing given in return.

A newborn is no joke. I consider the housework secondary to playing, talking, reading and feeding my kids. My husband earns a really high wage and he does like 40-60% of the housework and gets up at night with the kids too. Whenever they were really small he'd do almost everything.

A HMV would support you as much as you support their dreams. After years of jealous boyfriends who put me down I met my husband who's financially helping me through my degree because I put everything on hold when I had children. My emotional needs were never met until I was about to leave. Everything was me being "needy and melodramatic" when I had genuine mental health issues. Then when I left him he lay on the bed spread eagle like I shot him. I came back from my friends to get my stuff and they gave me some weed so I'd be calm going and he starts bawling like a fucking child, even though if I ever cried he treated me with contempt. It's work but it's not drudgery. In my previous relationship I was absolutely exhausted trying to make them happy so they'd be nice to me, instead of appreciating it they'd come up with more reasons to be miserable at my expense. That's just how a lot of men exert power over you, or they feel its OK to take their frustration out on you. My husband now is great, yeah a good relationship takes work but like a good job you enjoy most of it.

I got accidentally pregnant with my ex. I did not want him to be the father of my child and Neither did he. I wanted the baby very much but got an abortion when he became abusive because I was umming about getting rid of it. Then I planned and left him not long after. So glad I did even though I wanted the little thing. I'm pregnant with my third with my husband now and my husband is wonderful so it was the best decision in the end.

The second point has a lot of different meaning though. When I got with my partner he had a lot of potential as he was very smart and hard working but didn't have much idea of what he could do with it. He's been very successful since he found IT and I encouraged him to drop is old job and go for it. My dad is an alcoholic, all my mums friends have shitty husband's too. It's almost universal that men treat women poorly. I think the change is in the 80s/90s people taught their daughters that they could do anything without really changing the way boys were parented. So we could go out into a sexist workplace and deal with men who want a mother replacement.. But why should we? We're just as good as men, same qualifications, same hours at work. I think we just know better now.

That's what they do. They panic when you mean it and act nice, it's when it doesn't work anymore that the real bullshit comes out. I dunno about proposing, but he should be committed to you completely and if he says some bullshit like it's top "early" then it doesn't sound like he's committed. My husband and I got married after 3 years, but he was really committed right from the start. After many bad relationships I met my husband. For the first time in my life I never had to second guess myself to keep them happy, treading on eggshells and having to explain myself. It's easy, I can give and recieve love without mind games and being afraid of being cast aside. If anything happens to this relationship I can honestly say I will never look for another one. Men aren't worth it, and a man that suits me is just so rare.

Cause they can't deal with being single. Most men depend on women for everything but treat them like shit while they're doing it, like they don't need us. They need us to cook and clean for them, remind them to go to the doctor, provide children for them so they felt like they did something, set up play dates for them when they forget to do it themselves, then they just forget to do anything for the woman who does it all for them.

He can't demand sex on you, sex is like the only card we have, it's the only thing they want. Tolerating and pretending to he interested in you for 3 days is not enough to demand fucking anything from you. What a complete arsehole. Tell him he's quite welcome to fuck himself.

It's not my fucking fault u don't want to wear condoms and put all the onus on me, and seriously hormonal birth control isn't always very effective. My husband just uses a condom, we've been together 9 years and he takes responsibility for birth control. Exactly. All they have are techniques of abuse, but we work on empowering women. The red pill is all about men getting women. This is all about gaining respect for yourself. They're obsessed with us and we don't even need them.

Yeah but what are his actions? If he's not calling you or arranging something fun for you guys to do I'd just end it. It's not respect and you deserve respect from a friend, boyfriend or fuck buddy, it doesn't matter.

They make fun of basic bitches. But so many of them are basic and uninteresting it's scary.

My friend explained it like this. It's jealously. They found those things attractive about you so some other guy will too, that's a threat, best stomp all the best traits out of you. Also now they resent you as you're not the same person anymore.

This is my life story with my ex. Fuck em. After that I met my husband after a few guys and he's fucking wonderful. I only put up with it thinking all men were shit.
