I recall this as an ex staff member in the crim justice system. To be fair to the system it was seen that the majority of female offending was non violent and that womens lives were more 'complex' and required more enquiry about background circumstances before sentencing. So yes, a direct diktat ( called 'guidance' ) that might now be considered sex discrimination. More careful pre sentence enquiry. a better sentence would be seizure of assets including personal accounts hit these crooks in the finances tell you why, I knew a man who stole about a million from his employer calculating that he would do about 3 years (he did less) and claimed, as many do, that he spent it on gambling, drugs etc. He bought an apartment.

We release murderers when theyve done their time. Then they are 'On Licence' which means their probation officer can send them back if they break their licence conditions or they present a risk of harm to anyone. Male, female, trans gets dealt with the same. Interesting thing with murderers is most have a short 'rap' sheet and most dont reoffend. Easiest people to manage. (ex justice worker)

Modify the culture more (since it's already changing anyway ). Reconsider the notion that a man should provide for anyone other than himself or by choice for his parents, a wife, children if he wants them. Also learn from those women I think. Only engage in a long term relationship with someone who has about the same wealth or prospects as you do. Be mercenary, romantic love is a temporary illness. Women have long understood this.

wild speculation, going by the lady's haughty attitude, she would of lost her job if prosecuted etc... senior social worker, probation officer or civilian police employee. careless driving? , possibly dangerous driving anycase if any law was broken the vehicle reg is identified and Westminster can send a ticket to the driver in this case (incidentally goes for the drivers mounting the pavement too, which is dangerous, even though the lady driver indirectly forces it), I see members of the public facing oncoming traffic on the path!
