The moral part of going against capital punishment is that humans shouldn't kill each other no matter what. On a justice standpoint, sentences that turn out to be wrong can't be corrected if the victim is dead. This is outraging and beyond any possible logic and humanity. In my country changing gender is an incredibly difficult procedure because they make the people wanting to do this go through incredibly extensive checks by psychiatrists to make sure they REALLY want this permanent change. Instead, the courts of law in this case are HELPING THIS CRAZY LADY DESTROY A CHILD'S LIFE? How is this even possible?
