Did you read the article literally at all? First of all these are specifically selective schools which i’m assuming differ from public schools. The results of this STILL do not favour girls and if anything, this article just says that no matter what, both genders are struggling with whatever system they have. It also states the goal is to separate the highest performers with no gender specification. Nowhere in that article did it say they were going to get rid of the portions that boys were doin…

this literally proves my point? men are still doing better LOL

It sounds like YOU don’t considering I asked you to provide me with actual facts and you can’t even do that. Not worth my time.

what “push” are you talking about that boys in high school don’t receive that girls do?

There is literally no evidence that exists that supports your argument that women are only succeeding more because of deliberate discrimination in schools.

Absolutely nobody said that. Men have succeeded more than women specifically in percentage of college admissions because until like 50 years ago, women weren’t going to college due to patriarchal oppression. We see now that women generally outperform men in post secondary institutions (in certain disciplines) because they have been encouraged to attend, and fragile men are upset that women could possibly be better than them at something.

The school enrolment is a great point, somebody legitimately tried to argue to me that the reason for this is because of increased social criticism and under representation of men, and unfair bias towards women. They simply cannot handle when women exceed their abilities in any way shape or form.

It’s my assertion that women represent a larger percentage of college admissions because throughout the last 5 or so decades they have increasingly been allowed and encouraged to purse higher education. It is a fact that women are generally higher achieving and more attentive and disciplined and thus statistics like this will reflect that. You’re still failing to explain the connection between this and your original statement.

To explain how what is acceptable? your made up “disproportionate representation”? women are outperforming men because they are WORKING for it, and are finally allowed access to opportunities that weren’t historically available.

Lmfao what? do you think that women are being admitted to colleges just because they’re women? what does that stat have to do with anything?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 10:28 PM

80%? Where the fuck are you getting this statistic from?

Has anybody ever informed you that what you see on the internet rarely reflects real life circumstances? Like.. don’t believe everything you see on the internet?

OP is literally too far gone. Consumed by garbage rhetoric
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 06:33 AM

That is not the same as saying “women want men to approach them only if they fit criteria x,y,z”. If the interaction is welcomed then sure, a lot of the time it is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 02:43 AM

Yeah? What’s your description of such a woman then?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 02:41 AM

Yes because all women go out in public with the intention of drawing attention from the most “alpha” looking men. Get a grip on reality please.

What does this have to do with adulthood? Do you think that all women have the same social circle and support group as adults as they did children? Literally just the same excuse over and over again in different wording. Women gain and lose friendships and relationships throughout their entire lives, the difference is they DO actually put in more effort to maintain them. You, however, appear to be digging yourself into a hole of ridiculous conspiracy theories to justify your self perpetuated mis…

“based in observation or experience” does not mean anecdotal evidence. it’s not my fault that you do not understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/25 12:22 AM

the definition literally has the word “data” in it, you and your little friends telling campfire stories and coming up with hypotheticals about why you think everything is the woman’s fault is NOT data. empirical data is collected through controlled experiments and replicable PROCEDURES, most often according to the scientific method where the SOURCE, and CREDIBILITY of the source actually matter. i can see why that would be difficult for a layperson such as yourself to understand.

that’s not empirical evidence? you can’t just say that it is. also second hand anecdotal evidence has about the same credibility as a game of telephone. throwing around big words doesn’t make you look smart.

you cited having empirical evidence to support your claim, well where is it lol?

this is just a completely false generalization of all relationship dynamics, i’m assuming based on subjective experience. not only is this dumb but it also completely excludes LGBT couples. would you say the same thing about 2 women in a relationship? or 2 men? this seems to be such a common theme in this sub is wildly over generalizing the dynamics of heterosexual relationships to the exclusion of all others.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 07:32 PM

that’s such a non issue? it’s so obvious you are very chronically online and that is where this opinion is coming from. you’re equating not being able to “proclaim your racial exclusions” (which i don’t believe this is even remotely true), to issues women face like having their literal reproductive rights and freedoms taken from them BY MEN. you have a terrible argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/25 04:49 PM

you’re mad because…. women are allowed to have preferences in who they want to date… aka a choice…?

I find it so funny how you say the vast majority of claims made by feminists are false or overly exaggerated, yet you open this post by saying the goal of feminism is to create “androgynous beings”. You can’t even care enough to research about a topic before you decide to hop on here and make such a matter-of-fact statement, it’s so obvious you have no fucking idea what you’re talking about.

Feminism isn’t promoting sex work and telling women “yasss queen go get that bag!!” (like all of you seem to think). Feminism wants to dismantle patriarchy which includes the demand for sex work (by men), but that is not going to happen anytime soon so what choice do we have but to support the women who CHOOSE to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 05:36 PM

Your argument has literally nothing to do with the topic of this discussion. Try again.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 07:14 AM

Yes because you would die if you didn’t have access to either.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 07:08 AM

Lol totally, its always nice when people are actually willing to hear each other out and potentially change their opinions, after all, you can't really debate somebody if these aren't the circumstances. You aren't wrong at all about it being advantageous for people to want sex, however there are psychological and biological elements to attraction and selecting a partner that are also important. I would argue that it isn't the act of sex itself that humans and other nonhuman animals are specifica…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 05:34 AM

Well then what is a need or a want if not classified as some sort of psychological or biological drive? By that logic then attraction and intimacy being integral to the human experience is just some arbitrary restriction as well? What if it’s not integral to my experience? You can’t just assume that for everybody. YOU may think it’s a normal human need for yourself, but your argument completely lacks any sort of evidence which yes actually, in this context is important because you can’t just red…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 04:05 AM

Disagree on the basis of psychology and biology. In the context of reproduction, sex is classified as necessary (obviously), but strictly for the purpose of reproduction. Like in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, sex is a psychological need. However, that has nothing to do with an individual person and whether or not they PERSONALLY consider it a need or a want. There is no point in generalizing it as a universal need when there isn’t any research suggesting that this is biologically or psychological…
