The first guy I ever taught my lessons to was a 5'5" Asian guy, acne ridden and the works. After we worked through everything I can easily he has become one of the best I've ever taught. He didn't do BAD, but sometimes that's all it takes. If you do SOMETHING its better than 99% of other guys she saw that day. Its not in the PUA philosophy to give credit to "luck".
