1	Just saw this in my course selection. Computer science courses are now segregated by gender. Just curious: there was some research into the outcomes of gender segregated classes. But they were initially using the 100+ instances/hour number. But they do it enough to get just about every women, which sucks. This is around 42nd Street (downtown, I believe the most foot traffic in NYC). So we can possibly estimate from the population density there and her walking speed. Though time of day changes make it difficult. 1	Guys, I've hit rock bottom. I don't think I can get any lower than this. I officially have NO social life. Help. Hey op, I think people are offering a lot of higher level socializing that you may not be ready for. If you don't have a good level of confidence yet, I'm pretty sure you can't talk to strangers in a bar. I'd suggest starting with activity groups (gym classes, book club, etc.) or internet meetups (reddit has a good amount in many areas, meetup.com is good, too).
