It sorta makes sense and sorta doesn't. Pregnancy is a vital part of the human races survival so women having a higher pain tolerance just for that makes sense, but then again it barely happens (ideally) while men in nature are supposed to act as the work horses (moving heavy objects and fighting, all where a high pain tolerance is useful).
