Repecting someone and putting them on a pedestal is different. A girl who sleeps with 100 guys is still a person at the end of the day. And there is no need to treat her like she's less than you. But to praise her and faun over her "sublime courting skills" would be excessive and unnecessary.

Agreed, those terms are subjective. That's because I'm not the one dating you and different girls have different ideas. It all depends on how you do it and also the girls you are dating. Everyone has a type and not all types are good. It could be quite possible that you are either A. Too emotional and maybe a little clingy. No one likes that. You can be emotional and maybe even cry but there are mature ways to handle adult situations. B. Pick douchey girls.
