And we've gone full circle. The origin of the term was to describe a behavior of sexist men. I briefly touched on that. Then I explained how it's more used now to shut men up in discussions. I was commenting on the irony. I was saying I didn't understand why I got downvoted because I never said or implied it was okay to use the term mansplain.

I never said mansplaining wasn't a sexist term.

Well, you win some you lose some. I guess this is one of those particularly circle jerky subs where when you say something that even seems contrary everyone shits on you. Unless you guys actually are sexist douchebags. Or maybe just lacking in reading comprehension? I love hating on feminazis as much as the next guy but not acknowledging the origin of that word is really building a strawman. There's sexism on both sides. I wasn't saying one was more or less prevalent or anything.

The problem is that mansplaining does exist. There are asshole guys who will act superior to women and explain things to them while dismissing their opinions because they're women. But then there are asshole women who will claim any man is mansplaining when he disagrees with her. They act superior and dismiss the opinion of the man because they're a man and men apparently cannot ever comprehend anything a woman goes though or any gender issue. Wait a second... is a woman accusing a man of manspl…

Then the mother also plays sympathy and people buy it because she's a woman with an injury. The father doesn't have a lawyer to help with the intricacies and ends up messing up and gets 10 years or something. I fail to see how what you're suggesting is a wise idea.

And there it is. My uncle works for Cox (cable company) and they're saying that Title II is more harm than good for reasons apart from throttling. There's a lot of regulations on how to build infrastructure. So it's really we could get screwed by big cable if they want, or under Title II they could get screwed in turn screwing us. Either way we could be getting screwed. I just hope either way we don't.

I'm confused, was she raped (or at least claiming) or did she just make an art piece but use some guy as an example?

Ducks have 9 inch corkscrew penis. Lady ducks have 9 inch corkscrew (in the opposite direction) vaginas with dead end pouch things.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
