I'm sure I read an article awhile back about this company and wondered how long it'd take to fail.

It's not about an eye for an eye, it's about removing a dangerous human from society. If shes willing to murder her own kids over an issue that shouldbe handles with a 2 minute conversation, she's a danger to everyone, and prisons 1: can be escaped from and 2: are pretty damn full.

our family services thing in the US is called WIC (Women, infants, and children).

And yet if I, as a 23 year old male, decided sex with a 16 year old is ok, I'd get charged with rape.

Either the FCC controls it or Comcast. Either way were fucked. And either way the feminists get their way if this comes to pass.

If this comes to pass, the internet will be ruined. Ah well, time to download wikipedia circa 2007 and prepare for internet 3 (perhaps a wide mesh network with no central backbones to own and control?)

You make excellent points there. I guess that's the case. Still there are people in the sub who still want to legitimately help, as I've seen myself, few as they may be now. Like I said, you gotta ignore the garbage replies to find the real advice.

At least the thread at the top is reasonable. Child support is for the child, though in this case the mother should not be allowed to keep the child regardless the circumstance. It was an injustice for her to take the child home. Or to NOT be imprisoned. The child should either go to the (victim) father, as he has indicated he plans to pursue after some therapy, or be put up for adoption so someone with the means can take care of the child. To make the father pay for the child in this case (and …

I'm honestly not surprised or that unhappy. Not many women that I've met who weren't horrible to their husbands/boyfriends, or just horrible people in general. That includes within my family.

Dollar tree sells a three pack of decent lighters for 1$. They have electric ones one for 1$. No brand name on them, just simple clear colored or black lighters. There are other brand name lighters out there but I can't recall any off the top of my head.

Never having kids. If I ever do, it will be an adoption as a single dad. Though that likely will never happen, because "why would a man want a kid by himself unless he was some kind of perverted pedophile" (actual words I was told when mentioning the idea in casual conversation) Yeah, I don't really want someone to pass my name and knowledge on to, all men are pedos, totally......fucking double standards...

Wow, there's a lot there I hadn't ever considered. I'll be saving this for when I get to the point beyond financial stability. Right now I'm in school and my goal is to save at least $1200 over the next year (ideally I want to get to $1800 saved.) After that, when I have a start to my career, my plan is to save and invest for awhile. And enjoy the time and money being single affords me! That's something I've been thinking about a lot recently. I'm gearing up to be a tech, and plan to live well below the money I'd be earning (Except my hobbies, which will get some money put into them!) Without a woman around, I'll be able to put ~$20k/yr into savings, or as you mentioned, invest some of it.

Not making a good case for keeping "equality in the workplace," keeping in mind we already have that. She IS making a good case for female doctors not being allowed near little boys however. If I ever have kids no way in hell i'd take them to someone like her, hell I'm close to saying I'd never trust a female doctor... but that would make me a "misogynist" now wouldn't it. Damn misandrists. Regardless she should not be allowed to practice medicine EVER again. "A practitioner should act in the be…

We have a school near here with the same deal they recently started advertising. Basically "all you can eat courses" for 2k/semester, and you can test out of almost all courses. I'm going to look into that and see if it's something I can manage.

So be it. And I agree, the college SHOULD cost money, because the classes are a service that is paid. But a piece of paper saying you know something, costing that much time and money? I suppose I shouldn't complain, there are good schools that have testout credits available now, for cheap, so I CAN skip the stuff I mastered on my own. I just wish that were the norm. 80$ and a couple hours, for a few credits if you mastered the material already. THAT is more palatable for an autodidact without an…

That was put better, I'm getting loans myself, but what of those who are handed money. Are they earning it? And don't say they earn it through hard work at school because by your last argument, that counts for nothing, because education has to be paid for. I am autodidactic, I learn skills and build knowledge on my own because I can. Just because I didn't learn in a structured environment means my knowledge means nothing? I really don't like that, but the reality is that piece of paper is worth …

I've been on school and work computers where paint, snipping tool, etc were blocked from running. (Of course the same systems were vulnerable to things like putting command.com into a batch file or renaming an exe to a known good name to run it. The company was dying, breach or not... ) One dumb one was any exe would run at the tech bench provided it was named ettoolbox.exe, which is dumb …

Protip: Buy a couple different brands (other than the one presented) and tell her to use them to be sure. Any test can have a false positive after all, and she wont likely find used positive tests for every brand on such short notice. Then you can be sure she isn't doing this.

As someone who used to be in E/BD classes (Emotional/Behavioral Disability,) I can add that some states purge those records after some set time (like 60 years), others keep them forever. Further, if a request is put in by anyone, you, being an adult, are notified of this. Here is a link to some info on this, /u/LunarianAngel . And again, as an E/BD student, I have gotten into trouble more times than I can remember, and twice was taken out of the school in handcuffs (baker act, but still it's rec…

Under 18 wont show up on any criminal record, unless you are "charged as an adult" last I checked. I would do some research on your states laws and maybe contact a lawyer if you are truly worried. I'm not a lawyer, this is not legal advice, etc

I say screw em (figuratively of course) Why would anyone subject themselves to that? IMHO relationships of any kind, romantic or otherwise, puts the man in a dangerous position. False rape claims, beatings where defending yourself means jail time, emotional outbursts to contend with, the list goes on. I'm done with the whole notion of having to pair up with a woman or you are incomplete. And I have no plans to befriend any more women. Its the safest option these days.

I feel the same about computers/technology, and even repairing furniture. I cant stand most people, since they are unpredictable and tend to break things. But I enjoy computers, predictable, reliable, and when something is wrong, there is always a reason and a solution. And furniture for the same reason you enjoy construction, predictable materials, and even enjoy people enjoying the things I fix or make. Not an excuse. Bring them in the building and sit them in a lobby, where they won't cook to death. If you are a good parent, and raised them right, they will usually sit reasonably quietly, enough for the staff to not be annoyed. If not, give them something to do for 20 minutes or bring them to the interview. A GOOD parent finds a way to both care for AND provide for their kids.
