There are tons of weightlifting programs out there such as the Reddit PPL and others targeted at beginners. To start I’d say: a) track your food intake and calories with MyFitnessPal. Dial in your macronutrients so you’re hitting your desired protein target at least. This brings up a good point... Why DO women have such a hard on for Travel? They blow ridiculous money on it and brag about how enlightened they are because they snorted dried camel turds off an Egyptian pyramid. Meanwhile I save and plan for my future. Sure, travel is fun, but it's almost how they form their identities.

I worked at an organization many years ago whose motto was "Be here now!" in addition to "Assume positive intent". They actually had a company-wide week-long 'seminar' to go over these 'core values'. Assume positive intent. That one really got me. Think about that one. Basically, no matter what happens to you or what someone does to you, you assume it was done with positive intent, hang your head and move on.
