My wife of six years decided out of the blue to end our marriage. She cheated on me, and still turns it around like it was my fault. We have two children and a whole life that we built together. I'm still completely devistated. I cry more now then I ever have in my life. I've been to Afghanistan with the Army. This is worse. On top of all that I'm basically homeless, and have to make sure that my children have a bed to sleep in every night. My children are the only thing keeping me alive.

So he should have to deal with the consequences still? I thought it was innocent until proven guilty not innocent and deal with the bullshit anyway. If not her the state should pay him his lost wages. I do not believe a rape claim anymore automatically; then I do any other claim. Man this happened to some kid at the school son goes to. He is 7. He came to school on the first day in a dress and tried to tell everyone that he was a girl. A woman's size does not affect their ability to shoot a weapon. It does affect their ability to carry someone a foot taller and 100lb heavier though. I'm not trying to hate on women soldiers. I spent 8 years in the Army. Their physical requirements are no where near the same. I had a girl in my unit that was 5 foot even and 95 pounds. Do you really think she could have carried my 5'10 190 pound ass out if a fire fight? That would be like me having to fireman carry someone who weighs 400 pounds. It's not paying for the child. It's paying for baby momma's stuff he graduated from. The child support system is terrible. I'm married with 2 kids so I don't pay it. It being on a background check would be ok in my eyes anyone can pay to get a background check so atleast potential boyfriends and employers could find out. I just think there needs to be some kind of deterrent. Less people would do it if they knew there was real consequences instead of people just whining and saying. "But it'll stop actual victims from coming forward". Someone getting there life ruined should be more important than "well there is a chance that someone won't come forward"
