Anyways, long story short, I really don't feel welcome in men's spaces. I feel welcome and loved in FeMRADebates and in women's spaces, but not here. I feel the exact opposite as a man. I think if you come into places like MR and TiA waving the "feminist" flag around, you're going to be met with hostility because of the connotations the word has. We do teach men not to rape. Rape is considered a deplorable act in our society. Rapists rape anyway. The problem with "don't teach me do protect myself, teach men not to rape" is it assumes that the majority of rapists believe that rapists rape because it's an acceptable thing to do.
