I live in a traditional Christian community and its the same here. They think you are broken or gay. I think they want us to partake in the struggles and rewards of marriage like its a quest or something. Married men look down on MGTOW for being quitters but they also envy our self direction, freedom, and extra money. These mixed feelings can confuse them because they were taught that marriage and a family are the end goal of life itself.

Here's a simple solution. Treat everyone equally. Would you trust anyone in an all encompassing business partnership? No. You value independence and self direction. So you don't marry.
