"If a girl started spouting off about equal rights...[she] would likely be dismissed." You're projecting and you're generalizing. We can't debate a point that you're making completely in the hypothetical. Unless you're just trolling, in which case I give it a 6.

You seem to be under the impression that someone who does not share your values could never possibly be happy. That is one hell of a limiting belief.

Game the girls and ignore the guys. Seriously. I dated a girl once upon a time and taught her a few routines and she started using them to make new friends in bars. She would run openers, she would qualify, she would DHV and she would playfully flirt with the girls and leave the bar with a brand new circle of friends. She was actually better at it than I will ever be, mostly because she was the most non-threatening entity a person can be: a tiny cute girl who has something fun to show you. Your …

This is horrible feedback. Really, just awful.

Things like this are why you're here. Misogyny will never get you laid in the 21st century. Take note. If you're going to be hateful to women, you will never get any better at talking to them. I don't care if you were joking; it's at best a "sour grapes" comment, at worst it's dehumanizing. Either way it's not funny.

He will lose his license if this progresses.

Always be escalating. If the conversation is going nowhere, GTFO. IMing too much is a one way ticket to the friends zone. Especially on facebook. Find a way to say, "Hey, I'm going for coffee, you coming with?"

Lots of questions, I'll just run down what I remember: After opening Wayne recommends finding a subtle way to get the girl to commit to the conversation. Just asking "Do you have a couple minutes to talk, because I can just go away but I'd love to talk about ______ (whatever you were already talking about) with you here for a minute before I do." Routines: I run very few routines. The cube and ring finger routines are the only two I've used since I met Wayne, and only because those are things I …

My sticking points were conversational escalation. Having an intelligent conversation about sex that was exciting, relevant, and natural with someone I didn't know was something I couldn't have done before I met Wayne. Now I do it all the time. Most common thing I now hear from girls I meet in coffee shops: "I can't believe I'm telling you this, how did you do that?"

The most important thing he said to me was telling me that I had kind of a "gee whiz" vibe so girls tended to see me as their goofy friend or younger brother or something. I got rid of the gee whiz vibe by not letting myself get so excited when things are going well. I sort of had to raise my own bar in terms of what impresses me and that allowed me to have more believable reactions that didn't make it sound like I was constantly saying "Willickers!"

Absolutely steal it! It's a great line because it's not a line at all. If you're being honest when you say it, and she believes your delivery, it will be very endearing.

I didn't use a single canned opener all day. We talked a lot about having a genuine reason to go and talk to her. You should definitely do it, but you should also know why you're doing it. The one opener he fed me was in a bar; we sat at a table next to a table with three girls; one girl had a camera on the table so he told me to say she had a nice camera. I did, and the girl hooked immediately; we started talking about why she had the camera and then on to what she and her friends were celebrat…

Everybody's different, and everybody's starting from a different place, so unfortunately what I have to offer may not be beneficial for you at all. This veers away from the topic of Juggler but if you're asking I'm happy to share what I can. :) In a conversation with a friend of mine, I recently said something like this: "Too much of conversation is focused on the question, 'does this person like me?' ... I prefer to focus on having a conversation that says 'you're cool and I like you.'" I don't…

It cost about $3000. He was friendly but a bit businesslike, he later told me he had been having a bad week. He's a cool guy, and he's very clever in conversation. It was fascinating to watch him talk to college girls in coffee shops and within four or five sentences he would have her laughing and looking at him like she didn't understand him but really wanted to. I have no idea what the last question is, but I assume it's some legitimate problem that I could not possibly have an answer for.

About $3000. It was worth it for me, he got me through my sticking points perfectly.

It was toward the end of 2009. I found him through his company, Charisma Arts. http://www.charismaarts.com/ At the time, he was based in Ann Arbor, Michigan but he has since relocated. He recently stated on Twitter that he wouldn't be doing anymore in-field instruction; I thought this was sad because he did offer lots of great advice.

Cocky can be interesting but it's not really something Wayne teaches. Anytime I would say something cocky or funny to a girl he would say something like "Well, you lost her there." Usually a rehearsed cocky line comes out sounding rehearsed and disingenuous, and therefore can pull a girl out of the conversation. It works for some people, but I don't really use cocky/funny. I'm more of a goofball who uses direct statements of interest when I think they would be beneficial.

In any conversation with a girl, we're always waiting for that moment when we say something really brilliant or insightful or anything that makes her become more attracted to us. Many of us make the mistake of choosing that moment to escalate. Instead, give the girl some space to be interesting in the conversation you two are having together. When she says something that impresses you, this is when she will believe your escalation as having basis in attraction for her in particular rather than f…

Actually, I just realized I have an answer for you that's a little more cohesive as advice. I'm headed into a rehearsal, so I'll post it when I get out. So I'll remember what I mean: escalate on conversational high points (hers and yours).

That's a pretty great summary, yeah. In this case, escalating emotionally worked great because this girl was open to it. Other times it might not work so well. Talking about sex made us both comfortable because we were comfortable talking about sex. I wasn't creepy or childish about it, I was just laid back and honest about it. That's Wayne's whole thing: never say something you would never actually think. [paraphrase mine]

Either you want my advice or you don't. I'm not a dispensary of knowledge, all I can tell you is my own experience. If this is how you handle strangers who don't give you what you want then you may need to do some self-reflection before studying anymore pickup.

Me too! The only routines I do anymore are the ones that genuinely interested me to begin with, and my conversations are much more fun as a result. Routines are WONDERFUL. For filling space sometimes but just letting a conversation breathe and flow has been much more effective for me personally.

"Best" is a tough term; it implies that there are imperical rights and wrongs on how to do this, and that's not really Wayne's style. As an example of what he got me to do: on the flight home from the session, I was seated next to a cute girl. We chatted up for a bit and I realized she reminded me of a girl I used to date. This got us talking about relationships, which got us talking about sex, which got us talking about what was "sexy." I told her some things I honestly think are sexy. Conversa…

We talked a lot about truth in conversation. Wayne's not big on routines, he prefers a more two-sided conversation where both people become invested by talking about things they're mutually interested in. We spent an entire day hanging out so it's hard to compress al of the onversations into one answer, but my primary sticking point was in the above paragraph. I was trying too hard to be interesting and wasn't giving people enough space to be interesting themselves.
