I would rather have the 10K making me money. I have a line of credit that greatly exceedes that. If I needed 10k for an emergency (and what the hell would that be I have no idea) I would just use that or my credit card. In the case of the credit card I could cash in funds and have it paid off before any interest was charged. You're going to say "well what about a down period you're selling at a loss." That's not how the CPP even works. You don't know what you're talking about. The CPP is the most solvent pension plan in the world. You might have a point about OAS but not really because that is structured differently as well.

Actually your comment is way off. Unions don't protect workers, not in any real sense. What they do it pay very expensive labour lawyers to prove that they were fired incorrectly, or rather against the law. People like you are the problem, you don't seem to understand labour law. You see it's quite easy to fire a union worker LEGALLY what you're complaining about is that it's virtually impossible to fire a worker "ILLEGALLY.*

Seriously though.. I never understood womens obsession with marriage... It's makes things much easier for women to fuck over a guy in a divorce that just splitting up as cohabitant. As a good example couples in Quebec are given nothing when split up no matter how many years of living together. Which is how it fucking should be regardless if you're married or not.
