My understanding is yes. If it goes to a Judge and its not an even split then they'll probably throw it out. Prenups are useful if you want to ensure certain assets remain with you in the event of a divorce. Like if you wanted to keep your house that you grew up in, your grandma's jewelry, or whatever but the wife still would need to receive something so that the value is even. So in that case she might receive more in cash while the husband would retain the other assets, just so its even. Plus …
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/11/21 03:41 PM
15

Yeah most people don't understand prenups and think they are magical "get out of jail free card" but for Divorce. You're still going to split the assets 50/50.

Don't save her, she don't want to be saved, don't save her. Big true. Notice how much high praise she gave the first guy? We can read between the lines and tell he wasn't a "good man," and she "fought everybody for him" and "he was always in the streets." Per her own words she would still be with him had he not died. She WANTS that life. EDIT: Minor change to not break rule 1.

This is what I wanted to point out. There is so much more vitriol aimed at the less sexually desirable men through the terms "incel" and "niceguy" but barely any against men who exhibit the dark triad of personality traits and the men who literally abuse them. I mean sure there is almost lip service to it, "he was such an asshole," or "he was abusive" but how often do they warn women about them compared to warning about red flags for "incels" and "niceguys?"
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/08/21 02:22 PM
3

Good points actually
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/08/21 03:46 AM
7

I mostly agree with this, and its interesting that each of these words were created by men and taken over by women. But I still stand by what I say when there is a level of exclusive use with "niceguy" and "incel" that isn't there with "Asshole." There isn't a noun that is used exclusively for toxic abusive men that are bad to women.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/08/21 01:38 AM

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/08/21 11:26 PM

What I just realized is that women have specific words for "/niceguys" and "incels" but not for toxic abusive men. They made up nouns to describe 'bad unlikable men' but only use adjectives for men that are sexually desirable but otherwise 'bad.'

Scientists study prairie voles because some of the neurochemistry is similar. Namely Oxytocin and Vasopressin. And also because of their lifespan means scientists can study many generations in a much shorter time. But I think the biggest reason they study them is because they display behavior that parallels monogamous relationships in humans. Humans have a dual mating strategy, exclusivity and promiscuity.

I think the reasoning is twofold: women don’t want to acknowledge how much more power/privilege they have in the dating market. Pointing out AF/BB means that women choose to fuck assholes also means that they are much more responsible for entering toxic and abusive relationships, because they sought out those relationships entirely because of toxic behaviors. And second they don’t want “lesser men” (in their eyes at least, by all measure they are decent men) to check out completely. Because then…

I don't think it was just a sex tape though. She said it was the only shot she's done, which heavily implies it was professional. And if that was true then it means she was paid to have sex on camera. For most guys thats already a dealbreaker, but add on to that that anybody can now just see a video of her having sex. And on top of it all the biggest issue, she lied by omission about it.

I've noticed similar rhetoric aimed towards men. That "knowing full well that the system is stacked against you and appears to actively hate you, with the high divorce rates majority of which initiated by women, with a majority suicide death rate, and much more; that men should bite the bullet and marry these women anyway, because its the right thing to do." This is probably the most concise answer I can find, luckily the sources are on the bottom. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pair_bond just simply states that Humans do experience many types of pair bonds but doesn't go into detail about how promiscuity can effect it. Unfortunately the rest is extrapolation from known scientific facts. Many studies are done on prairie voles of all things, and then tranlated to possible human behavior. I wish more scientific studies addressed it as it relates to hum…

When I was younger I listened to women who complained about their boyfriends and their ex's, in their own words they preferred "bad boys" because they were "exciting," a lot of these women suffered through literal abuse. And then they followed up by saying they would like to date a nice guy or a good man instead for a change. Almost always when a man says he is a "good man" or a "nice guy" he means that he will not abuse women. EDIT: I wanted to add, generally a "good man" or a "nice guy" also m…

The sad thing is dating strategy for women is really simple, a lot of these women just don't take it seriously until its too late. Don't have kids before marriage, don't get involved with criminals, quit whining about slut shame and accept that men will never completely remove that bias, and get married young.

Ask her what she brings to the table that you can't get from other young women. In FDS, they consider asking that question a red flag. Of course they do. What a lot of women miss about this is that if you sleep with us on the first date then you probably slept with most of the other men on those first dates too. What I love about a few of those is that they are palatable to normies. The child's father is still probably around, literally 99% of single mothers aren't widows. Look it up. So logically that means the mother is still legally and permanently tied to her ex in some fashion. Under any other circumstances that alone should be a hard pass. Its simultaneously a lack of imagination and empathy on their part: They assume guys have the exact same experience as women in dating with thousands of matches on tinder and hundreds of people lining up just for a chance for a date. Facing the truth, that women are more selective, means that women actually hold the greater amount of power in sexual dynamics, which also means that any long term failure in dating is also their fault. Ignoring this point allows them to preserve their fragile ego.

Its very frustrating how any men complaining about dating get called Incel. How can any of these people listen to men say "I don't have kids, therefore I don't want to date a woman with kids," and think "wow he's just a bitter incel." How can anybody listen to a man say "Its seems like people are overusing words like niceguys and toxic, and they've lost their meaning" and say "shut up incel."

I found it very strange when I first noticed women discussing sex work on the internet. The prevailing viewpoint was they fully support a woman's right to be a sex worker, but would never date a "John," a man who hires a prostitute. Which seemed weird to me, that they would claim its perfectly ok and acceptable for one party but disgusting and irredeemable for another. Once I saw a post on AITA about a girl who was upset about her boyfriend paying for nudes. In the comments there was a woman uni…

I think it’s important to remember that statistically women choose to get divorced and be single mothers. 75% of divorces are initiated by women, and women have greater access to birth control and abortion than ever before in history (at least in the US). While men’s access to birth control is severely lacking: condoms which ruin sensation, the pull out method which is foolish, and sterilization. We are living in the future that women have chosen.

I know many men can handle sex work, but I now truly believe they are the exception to the rule. Men that can handle being in a relationship with a sex worker are the exception to the rule Pay very close attention to the soft language used here. Look at where the responsibility is directed. "Men that can handle." Sex work isn't the problem, its men's reaction to it, and few of them are 'mature' enough to deal with it in a way that satisfies these women. However in reality men, as a class, don't …

I tried having a similar conversation on a normal sub, someone claimed that because a few women were able to conceive in their 40's and a maybe one or two in 50s (with IVF mind you) then that means that anybody can do it so there's no rush to have children. They also conveniently pointed out that men's virility goes down as they age too, (Just like women! men and women are exactly the same ! /s) and a rise in birth defects from older men too. Most people in the "manosphere" would probably say for a marriage partner ideally <2 or 3 sexual partners in monogamous relationships, but realistically <7. But even then very few women can manage that. I think guys should focus on whether she was in a real relationship with all her sexual partners. If the answer is no, bad marriage candidate, and she probably has a high number anyway. But Marriage is almost permanently fucked in this country so don't worry about it.

The reason we talk about The Wall is that there is no other term to describe how quickly and how completely women transform from Goddesses to Goblins, which also coincides with lowering fertility. The important take away I see is that women have no qualms with taking money from “troubled” men. I don’t know what this man’s issues are, maybe he’s on the spectrum I don’t know, but he clearly has issues. IF these women learned their lessons early and told other young women to be careful, there might be a chance to turn things around. You're right, they don't do that, and often times they do the opposite. There was a push in 2nd wave feminism to not teach their daughters the lessons their own parents taught them. One was the lesson "that men prefer debt free virgins without tattoos." Now they openly teach promiscuity. They want to permanently poison the well.

I'm going to copy my reply to this from the other thread It's not the N or the sex that causes the problems. It's the dysfunctions. I agree with most of what you said, except for that quote. Its more of a two way street. I do think the evidence suggests that the N count does influence the behavior because it reduces her ability to pair bond. Eventually the neural pathways are shaped such that the only way she can feel connected to a man is through multiple one night stands.

A good example would be the notch count. Maybe we are instinctively repulsed by it because of potential health related issues. Assuming a promiscuous person practices safe sex and does not have any health related risks, it doesn't really make any sense for us to have that instinct thanks to modern tech. It does make sense to have that instinct because its not just about diseases, or questionable paternity. Other people in this thread pointed out that the N count does affect a person's ability to…

I fucking hate it when they push that. Claiming that most rapists don't get jail time just says that the presumption of innocence doesn't exist. "They went to court over it, so he's obviously a rapist. Doesn't matter if they found him not guilty, he was still ACCUSED! OMG! #YESALLMEN #KILLALLMEN"

Thats good to hear that it worked out for you and your family. Some guys are ok with dating single mothers and some guys aren't. The point of my comment, as a reaction to the OP, was to point out that most guys don't want to be pegged into a hole, especially so early in their life. The OP was told by some girls mother that girls won't like him now when they are "young and beautiful" but they might when they are older and not so young and beautiful. These guys did the right thing in this situation because they watched and listen to women's behavior. They noticed that women tend to move on from a relationship fairly quickly. i feel like every man is just a bandaid on top of a bandaid, of the wound of my ex. This sentence right here says everything you need to know about human sexual pair bonding. If you weren't her first you will never be her best.

The romans did this with their conquered people as well. They moved leaders around so that they never ruled over their 'own' people.

Wasn't diagnosed but my doctors said that my symptoms line up with IBS. After a colonoscopy where they found nothing and numerous antibiotics with side effects that were literally the symptoms I already had, I was done with it all. Here is what worked for me after trying all of that and other diets as well like the Gluten free diet: I tried upping the amount of fiber I eat to about 20g per day and taking CBD oil at about 10mg a day. CBD oil is an anti-inflammatory and available over the counter,…

"But you need to be clear and open about why this is non negotiable." Yes and no. I've seen this a lot on Reddit and in real life. That women tell men what they NEED to do during a breakup or whatever. He doesn't NEED to do anything he doesn't want in this situation. Just saying, "I don't want this, goodbye" or "No, I think you getting a gangbang is disgusting. Full stop." is more than enough. He doesn't owe anything to her especially after her request.

I have dated men that I refused to be intimate with for a long time solely because I really cared about them, when I was willing to have a one night stand with someone I didn't care about. I think this is the heart of why women are experiencing epidemic levels of mental illness and psychiatric care. That and the internet puts it all out there eventually.

It is not necessarily true that it increases your risk of prostate cancer. Source here https://www.curetoday.com/articles/study-closes-the-debate-on-vasectomy-prostate-cancer-link One quote in the article, “If men go in to see a GP or urologist, they are more likely to get a PSA test. In turn, if they get screened, they are more likely to have a prostate cancer detected.”
