Counseling if you can. Don’t be the good guy. She will bleed you dry, string you along or you will string yourself along. You will give too much to her and in the end still be alone. It’s hard for some, but you just have to push and move on.

Two separate things here. Custody - CA will likely have jurisdiction if kids have lived there more than 6 months. Child Support - if you remained in Texas, Texas will maintain jurisdiction which is a good thing. However, if you moved out of Texas she can have CA take over jurisdiction and good luck because CA is different in calculations. If you are not in CA and dependent on kids age it’s going to hard to get 50/50 or anything close due to distance. You might be able to snag longer summers, hol…

Online dating for me was crap show. I gave up, deleted all accounts and was destined to just stay single. Ironically, months later I meet someone in person at a place I go to with some frequency. We had always been friendly. She initiated first move to show interest and we hit it off from there. Guess I’m just saying things can happen spontaneously at times.
