I understand we're all at different parts of our healing process, but cut her some slack. She's an 18y/o witnessing first hand what we're going/went through. I take the laughing emoji as nerves. You've never seen someone laugh or chuckle when they're trying to talk about something really difficult and feel awkward? Hey OP, what was it that made you have a strong bond with your Dad?

Exactly what these guys are saying. It takes two. Don’t believe this bullshit narrative it’s only you. You need space and time. Don’t even think about dating anyone else right now. Focus on being the best version of yourself and the best dad you can possibly be to your kids.

What’s your income? What’s your living arrangement? There’s too many variables to know the answer to this.

Whenever you feel yourself triggered, make sure to take time to sit with the anger; let it pass, and then respond with a rational mind and not an angry/reactive mind. Whenever you do need to communicate, think about whatever you’re saying being read by a judge. Because there’s a high likelihood that’s what’s going to happen.

Per the doctors that make money by performing surgeries. I became friends with a few different doctors and once you see inside that industry it’s eye opening. Also look into the peptide stack know as klow.

She’s still the mother of his children. He’s taking the higher road and setting an example for his kids.

We’re all going through this together. We’re at different stages of it so we can lean on each other for help. If you need someone to talk to message me.

Number one thing I recommend is to stay away from any female offering divorce advice to men. Women and men’s minds work completely different. Check out G-man Speaks on YouTube. You’ll thank me later.

I’m in the thick of it now and guys keep telling me once it’s over, they’ve never been happier and more at peace. How long did that take for you personally?

Plant a tree. It needs taken care of to grow properly, just like you.

It sounds like you’re in the angry stage of the divorce right now and the anger is clouding your judgement. If she hasn’t worked, the court will more than likely give her emergency spousal support. I don’t know your situation, but if you look at this objectively, how do you expect her to be able to have any financial assistance? At the end of the day she’s still the mother of your children. What state are you in? It sounds like you have a lawyer that’s going to milk you for every penny they can.…

The thing that really gets me is I’m constantly being told I need to do what’s best for the kids. You know what’s best for the kids? For their parents to work out their differences and have the kids grow up in a two parent household.

It’s like we were living the same life. You reached into my mind and pulled out everything that’s been in my thoughts and eloquently put them into word form. The way the system is set up actively encourages women to walk away from their husbands and destroy families.

Brother, you’re still plugged in. If you stick around long enough, you’ll see the excuses for what they are, just a way to pass the blame to make themselves feel better about destroying families.

She’s checked out and it’s time to start untying the knot. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt she’s going on a 2 week trip with her friends. She’s probably meeting up with her ex. This leaves you two weeks to take action. Talk to at least the top three lawyers in your area. After you have consultations, she won’t be able to use those lawyers. Separate your finances. Don’t spend the money, that can be used against you, but secure it somewhere that she can’t take it all. There’…

How long ago did you get divorced? There’s a case from November 2024 where the judge ordered the ring go back to the husband. Ruling

What state are you in? I'm going through it now. Stay at home mom wants a divorce but won't get a job. No pills involved, but two kids, one in elementary school and one in middle school. Old enough they don't need a full time caretaker. She wants to do it through mediation, but I'm thinking of taking it to court for the judge to decide.

Judging by your post history, you seem like a bitter single woman trying to justify to yourself that you’re happy being single.

I feel like you write this looking through my eyes. The stories are so similar. Best thing I heard during all of this is “A man will sacrifice his happiness for his family and a woman will sacrifice her family for her happiness.” She’s gone brother. There’s nothing you can do or say that’s going to change that. She needs to make you the villain for her story to fit her narrative.

You and I are in the same situation. What pains me the most is the kids not growing up in a two parent household. Mine are 13 & 9. I’m glad they got most of their formative years with us together. But I think I’ve finally mourned the dream of raising the kids together. My relationship with my kids definitely have strengthened since this all started. Your wife also sounds like my wife. Shes a fearful avoidant. She would never want to talk about any of our problems and ended up blaming it all on m…

I’m sure a lot us were in the same boat. We were still in the limerence period when we got married. Once that wore off, it felt like, omg, what have I done?

I’m sorry this is happening to your brother. I know that anger and rage you’re feeling, but you need to get past that. Like the other guys are saying, use this as an opportunity to make a strategic exit. I know that’s a lot harder said than done. Think of your kids. This could all be a ploy to get you to act out. As soon as you do, she’ll call the authorities and next thing you know you’ll be removed from your house and won’t be able to see those kids you love so much. Love your kids more than y…

It’s time to make the move. I’m in the middle of it right now too. I’m taking the advice for a lot of the guys here who are already on the other side. Their message is that it gets better. Slowly but surely, it’ll get better, you’ll make it work, and above all else, you’ll be happier and in a better head space.

It’s about the solitude and finding your own happiness. Sit with your feelings and experience them. Don’t try to run from them with chemicals or distractions. Divorce is a process because you’re processing your feelings. When you get away from the distractions of daily life, lots of healing can take place. Just get in your car and drive. You won’t regret it.
