I'm glad to see that my comment resonated with you. It's really unfortunate that people on reddit often respond to posts with negativity. Comments that come across as antagonistic or critical must have been really unpleasant to read. I would hate for people to respond to me by telling me I'm insecure. It would make me feel bad about myself or defensive. Do you have supportive people in your life (ex. friends, family, mental health counselor, teachers, mentor) with whom you feel comfortable expre…

What you’re saying makes so much sense, and *you are absolutely right: the current dating climate is filled with uncertainty and discomfort. It *makes complete sense** that a system like the red pill, which offers concrete, measurable steps to reach certain goals, would be appealing. On the surface, it offers exactly what you seem to want most: an exciting, fulfilling sex life. I want to point out how much *courage* it takes to think critically about something that has been an important part of …

Replying to a comment made by Dingus1210 that is as follows: Repill dudes still get women, but they get toxic women that also fall for their BS and it just validates the stupid things they say. Then it turns into this nasty toxic vicious cycle until one or both of them put their hands on each other and get arrested. *Here is my response*: There is absolutely zero reason to make any judgments about the women who are involved with men in the Red Pill cult. The ONLY PEOPLE who can be held accountab…

So it sounds like you never fully got indoctrinated. What do you think WOULD have indoctrinated you? What could they have said to hook you and keep you? What other "grifts" have you experienced? How did you get out of those situations? What have you learned from your experiences that you think could help people who HAVE been fully indoctrinated into the Red Pill cult to start to question the inconsistencies and whether or not the program is working for them?

Read "Boys & Sex" by Peggy Orenstein. Might help you understand how ubiquitous misogyny and depictions of violence against women are. Good book. Also watch YouTube videos about cults like this one.

Assume that he is not going to change. The only person who can change him is him, and he has to be internally motivated to do that. The Red Pill is a destructive cult, one that could cause tremendous harm to you if you stay with him. He has been indoctrinated with beliefs about the way you think and feel that dehumanize you. He fundamentally no longer views you as an autonomous person. Do you want to be in a relationship with someone who views you as a piece of property that is only good for fuc…

There is absolutely zero reason to make any judgments about the women who are involved with men in the Red Pill cult. The ONLY PEOPLE who can be held accountable for being in The Red Pill cult are its members, the men (along with the leaders of the cult). Victims of abusive behaviors that result from the misogynistic beliefs perpetuated by this cult are not to be held accountable for anything other than their own behaviors. Making sweeping generalizations about VICTIMS is called... ... you guess…

I'm a cult survivor and sexual assault survivor who has been in relationships with men that manipulated me (one of which was definitely unfaithful. not sure about the others). I only realized the extent of the manipulation from those men years later. Hopefully these books can help you unpack your own experiences in the same way they've helped me. Wishing you healing 🙏

I'm responding to your comment so that you can see my response to another redditor's comment on your post: ToastedScorpion said: For some guys it takes a lot to get through a woman’s past, but it’s possible. Once the red pill craze washes over he will have more clarity. But yea, RP is a rollercoaster. *Here is my response*: What an awful comment to leave for OP. Takes a lot for a man to get through a woman's past? OP did not choose to be sexually assaulted. She was the victim and had zero agency…

What an awful comment to leave for OP. Takes a lot for a man to get through a woman's past? OP did not choose to be sexually assaulted. She was the victim and had zero agency in that case. She had absolutely no fault in her sexual assault. If a man needs to take a lot to get over the fact that the woman he loves had been forced into nonconsensual sexual acts in her past, then that says something about that man's belief system and says NOTHING about the woman's worth. "Once the red pill crazes wa…

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. At this point, I would assume he has been indoctrinated enough to no longer be a safe person for you to interact with in any way. Denying your sexual assault is emotionally damaging and demonstrates a lack of understanding about the experiences of survivors of sexual assault. He may potentially tell you in a day, a week, a month, or a few months that he was just testing you and that he wants to get back together. At this point, I think it is best to…
