Thanks for sharing. It's nice to hear some positive stories, even if there isn't a 'point' or lesson to be learned.

This poem is a half-finished thought.

In his dream/fantasy, he not only does nothing, but he feels nothing too. She loves him, he's ambivalent. Yuck.

I think he meant he would eat home cooked food for every meal instead of the processed garbage he eats as a single man. Not that this is any better, of course. He wants a woman to swoop in and solve all of his problems for him.

Note: I am well aware of how men are over emotional and like to resort to aggression and intimidation when they don't get their way, potentially escalating the situation to violence. Here's how mediocre men benefit from the violence other men inflict on women. They get to feel like good guys because they never hit women, and they get a higher level of agreeableness from women who don't know whether they're the type to get violent or aggressive.

This one is for professional women: NEVER be alone with a male in an office and always have another woman in the room and leave the door open. Males can be very malicious to get ahead and they will have no problem in accusing you or even making sexual/sexist comments. What country are you in, OP? I can't see this as being a necessary or realistic precaution in many countries.

has adverse reaction/ deep embarrassment of you making small talk with service workers won't hang out with you in public, and if you somehow convince him to, he'll ruin it by picking a fight/icing you the whole time Men who behave like this are like kids who whine that their parents embarrass them simply by existing. Except now the parental figure is the partner. It's a sign of stunted emotional development and deep insecurity. Actually, all of your points sound like the behaviour of an immature…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
