I take it seriously, but I also appreciate dark humor. Yes, I think it's funny, but thinking about that actual dude in the picture does make me upset, and imagining these scenarios does anger me. I myself haven't been desensitized to female on male violence in particular, I just appreciate comedic effect when I see it. Maybe I'm desensitized to violence in general, but I see FtM violence and MtF violence equally

I actually see climate skeptics (actual skeptics, not deniers playing pretend) arent doing any harm, because they are people who dont want to agree with something they dont understand. It shows they're intelligent enough to know that if they don't see the full picture, there may be things they don't know about that would otherwise sway their decision

Climate change is something that I feel strongly about, but again, the best approach is to be mature and factual. Otherwise we come off as people that just want them to be wrong, which will fuel the fire that is misinformation

Given what we know based on the image, we see no evidence of her being preachy. Maybe she is that kind of person, maybe not. But she didn't go on about the patriarchy and mansplaining and such when he immediately came in with a pitchfork. Again, I agree with what the Guy said, but I think there are more mature ways to have a conversation like this. Well I mean just bringing up for no reason in a place where it a) wasn't asked for and b) isn't contributing much to either cause. Obviously it's important to have civilized conversations about these topics, but when you're talking about the game last night and Kevin starts shrieking about how capitalism is a faulty economic structure, it kinda kills the mood, and doesn't really help anything.

I mean, he's not wrong, but chasing people down and berating them for a belief is kinda shitty. I think that climate change deniers are wrong, but I'm not chasing them down the hallway with a belt. If it comes up in a convo then fine, but I don't respect people who try to start crap, even if what they say is true

I actually heard about this story from my Law teacher. It was consensual sex and everyone involved was at or above the age of consent. The only reason it was illegal was because it was a teacher/student "involvement". Her life as an educator has been ruined and she has been labeled a child sex offender for life, which I firmly believe to be acceptable punishment, all things considered

I don't think it's anything like that. Climate change and global warming are issues caused by money, ignorance, and denial of facts. Masculinity, or a lack thereof, has nothing to do with it. Politicians are getting money, trees are getting burnt, and people are getting pissed. That's it.
