If your female interest knows her friend is crushing on you, she may reject a romantic situation with you based on that alone. Friends tend not to want to hurt their friends' feelings or betray their trust. If so, and if she tells you as much, that's a pretty easy rejection to process, but it could still lead to a friendship that later leads to something more if the situation allows. It might also provide you an opportunity to meet her friend, and maybe she grabs your attention. A nice little mi…

It's about confidence. We're all a bit hesitant with new things and people, so that's normal. It took me awhile to get past my shyness, but in the end, and many failures later, I learned that it's not the end of the world. It's practice. Just keep in mind that on one's death bed one rarely regrets the things they did in life, even failures, it's the things they didn't do and wished they had. Good luck to you. You'll be fine in the end if you try, then keep trying.

As a once dysfuntionally shy guy (only around women to whom I was attracted), trust me when I say you'll hate yourself more for NOT trying to ask her out than you will if you do and she rejects you. The issue is that she won't likely be an isolated case, and you'll spend years disliking yourself more and more in this regard aspassed opportunities to meet women stack up. Best advice I can offer is to bite the bullet, put yourself out there, be genuine and honest in your approach, and trust that n…

I once stood next to an attractive woman at a bar watching Sunday sports, and never spoke a word to her. When she was leaving a couple of hours later, she handed me her number on a small piece of paper, and told me to call her. I was perplexed to say the least, because we literally didn't even look at one another overtly. I called her a couple of days later, and I learned she gave me her number, because nobody before me had NOT hit on her in that situation, and it intrigued her.

With only that as context, I'd say it was a flat-out rejection.

If your buddy wasn't dating Girl A, and if he hadn't told you he wasn interested in dating Girl A, then you didn't steal her away. If you knew he wanted to date Girl A, then your move leans towards dismissive, and I can see how your buddy is upset. And you're correct to steer clear of Girl B for now.

Well, that's more difficult to judge, but it's no different really than IRL when you just get a sense that the exchange is heading that way. If it's forced, it become awkward. I don't know, it's just a natural progression like all other things.

It's real simple. You don't send your "Johnson" unless explicitly asked to do so, or unless the mood is so obviously hot that it would be appropriate in a real-life situation during which the woman would want to see or interact with it. Don't be the dick who sends his "Johnson" out of the blue.

Keep looking. There are plenty of men looking for the same thing you are. You might take your own observation under advisement, and start asking relatively soon what they're looking for. Worse case you'll avoid finding out after having sex with them, and you'll speed the filtering process considerably. :)

Yeah, I'm no longer suave in the world of pick-ups; however, if a woman were acting that way towards me I think I'd be pretty certain she was interested in me (assuming unique treatment compared to others at work). Worst case she's really friendly, but her behavior warrants an invite after work. Maybe pretend to have a poor day, and a little before the end of your workday, ask her out for a drink or coffee...because you're having a bad day, and she knows how to make you smile.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
