There's a joke in here somewhere about a body that has a massive, bulging bank account.

you clearly have some insecurities about them. you either recognize (at least subconsciously) that these are things that the alpha-version of yourself should not indulge (and you need to take the next step and abandon them) OR you have not truly engendered a point of view which puts you, confidently, at the center of your concerns... or both perhaps. either way, a change is needed.

not being a dick, just genuinely curious: how is it that you are recovering from a "terminal" illness?

That's a good mentality to keep, but don't let it escape you that youth is short, and misfortune can strike anytime. Don't let one more second of your life pass by without taking advantage of the knowledge and experience here. In a year, you could be the best version of yourself, fucking women you thought were completely out of your league, making money you thought was unreachable, doing things you've only dreamed of through your television screen or monitor. This is urgent, this is now. Go and …

Firstly, you're not at rock bottom. Many men come to this thread after enduring the devastation of divorce, custody fights, being made a cuckold, and myriad other trials. You are indeed at a turning point, but you have far more youth and far less misfortune than most men that arrive at this subreddit.

choosing to take back what was my place in her life. Red Pill advocates adopting an opposite perspective of this. Instead of working to be in her life, you resolve to make your own life whole, while leaving the door open for her to become part of yours. It's about control. You have none right now. You have oneitis and it has warped your sense of self.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine…

Great post. I had a very similar experience to yours, but it included me taking her back once after she had an affair with her boss. I rationalized to myself at the time that keeping the family together was the best thing to do. Once I discovered this subreddit, I realized that the most important thing was my self. Thank you for the encouragement, and keep fighting the good fight.

feminine fluff is what he's trying to avoid. you travel over there, you'll find some goof off, holistic garbage that might just make him blind. dudes in this subreddit are all about results. maybe he's trying to cut to the chase here and find some info out that's going to cure his ills? Either way, chill.

I would be aware of the manner in which you present yourself in the context of your hobby, but I certainly wouldn't hide it. I would try to avoid seeming like a John Birch Society type, and I would also avoid typing yourself as a racist or someone that is paranoid about their personal safety unto carrying a gun around or quoting crime statistics or some such nonsense.

second chance at a LTR with a woman that cheats on you is more or less antithetical to the philosophy unless there is something you are getting from her (money, etc.) that is entirely compelling to your LOGICAL reasons for staying with her. second chance at being a plate? possibly.

There's alot to be said for having a "monk mode" phase before actually becoming the man you intend for yourself. If you cannot be satisfied with yourself alone and in quiet moments, content with personal achievements, and dependent on no one's opinion than your own, how can you expect to remain positive in situations like this?

do both. i have a successful career as a software architect, and i moonlight in bands at night. i also have two kids (single father, joint custody). you can have it all. it is as simple as deciding what your goals are and arranging your life to achieve them.

Admit divorce is an inevitability, take it on the chin, and move forward dispassionately. The least you can do is salvage your wife's respect for you towards becoming amicable co-parents.

the difficulty here, even if you are able to increase your SMV, is that you've already set a precedent for certain behavior being okay. My advice to you is to work out your issues while single.

Anything can be useful. To note that red pill insight exists in ancient religious texts is simply confirmation that what we are discussing and engendering here are universal truths about gender and social dynamics. No one said a thing about magical sky men.

It should be mentioned here that a woman's self-worth is, generally, entirely sexual. Rape is, therefore, a capital form of theft on the woman's person.

"my girl" If you are committed to the Red Pill philosophy, you cannot own a person in the archaic sense of the word. If you are counting on a woman to honor you with commitment and respect on principle, you will be disappointed. If you are counting on her to honor you with commitment and respect because you display a worth that commands it (or you require it on threat of dismissal), you may not be disappointed.

See, I WOULD face fuck her, and that's the point here. She's being reactive. Maintain frame here, and you've won. She doesn't understand res pill because she has not accepted the commoditized nature of human sexuality.

Part of being able to affect the universe as a red-pill male is being financially independent. You won't be able to engage (or disengage) your sister as such until you get that squared away.

I don't think his life system is any less valuable than OP's. At least he's endeavoring it outside of an institution that is prescribing vicarious knowledge and seeking to control him. More than we can say for OP and other christians.

Seems like this is worrying you more than it should. Part of appearing detached and unaffected by her behavior is actually being detached and unaffected by her behavior http://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/28dxl5/being_controlling_is_for_losers/ If this is about controlling your girlfriend and changing her behavior, I would look into prioritizing a realignment of your perspective. The truth is, your life is dope, you do dope shit, and you frankly have better things on your plate than worr…

Maybe my story will bring a little perspective. I was married for 9 years, took her back after her first affair, cleaned up after countless financial and social failures, and in return got stuck with a bill for child support. You are young and unobligated. This is your time. There are better women out there, and more importantly, there is a better you. Stop moping and go strangle the shit out of life until what you want IS YOURS.

To me, that read like a metaphor for this entire social dichotomy.

I think that's a sentiment a bit generous to the significance of red pill thinking as a philosophical movement. The value of marriage has dropped collectively in the minds of men for all sorts of reasons.

The irony of this situation is that now you have a stoic, disillusioned perspective: just perfect for attracting a suitable, mature mate and maintaining a "red-pill-based" LTR that will keep her interested and invested as a female partner. edit: If you've ever watched Kung Fu Panda (kids movie, I know), there is a part of the movie where the Kung Fu master is training the Panda to be a Kung Fu master by using his crippling addiction to food to motivate him. Once the Panda has mastered the martia…

it's about the implicit gender roles and what is being provided. the latent, biological imperative of women is to have someone provide for them. the things they need are stable, material provision and significance. a beta provides the former, an alpha provides the latter. the biological imperative of men is to provide for someone. all they need is someone to fuck and provide for. i won't deny that we live in an egalitarian society and have all the tools and time necessary to rationalize away the…

She informed me that she wants a divorce all of 3 weeks ago. The affair happened a year and a half ago. I am just now swallowing the pill. It will take a long time to internalize these truths. I am a blue pill guy decades in the making.

I am just now learning this after a 12 year relationship. We have 2 children together, a mortgage, the works. What truly saddens me is that I have let myself be her crutch for so long. A decade of my life has been wasted. I'm swallowing the pill HARD.
