Hospital Circumcises Baby After Parents Repeatedly Tell Them Not To..Lawsuit filed.I really don't envision myself spawning children, but who knows what might happen in the future. If I do have a son, I don't want him circumcised, but it will likely be an argument with the future wife. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/10 06:40 AM

Advice for a college kid living at home?Rent is a bitch. No shame in living with the folks for as long as possible. Money can be saved or spent better ways. Edit: I dunno where you are, but 500/month is pretty normal for a college town. If you can't figure out a way to pick up girls with an extra $6000/year... | /r/seduction | 07/09/10 07:18 PM

German popstar avoids prison even though she knowingly infected one man with HIV and 'attempting' to infect two more men. Thanks for the research. I don't mean to belittle that, but it doesn't apply to Germany. In France, they were tried for "poisoning", and it sounds as if England actually has laws against spreading HIV. This lady was convicted of Grievous Bodily Harm, a charge roughly one step higher than aggravated assault. I don't mean to imply that she doesn't deserve jail time, I'm not sure I specifically have an opinion on that. Just that the problem is German law...not that she got special treatment. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/10 06:11 PM
German popstar avoids prison even though she knowingly infected one man with HIV and 'attempting' to infect two more men.She was convicted of GBH, I'm fairly sure the same conviction in the states, with no priors would net a short sentence. This is Germany, where they don't throw people in jail for profit. This isn't sickening and her celebrity didn't have much, if anything, to do with the sentence. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/10 05:41 PM

Women CEOs earn 40% more than men CEOs, in 2009 female CEOs got raises averaging nearly 30 percent, while male CEOs took pay cuts.Sensationalist headlines do well on Reddit. That's an easy conclusion to draw based on plenty of evidence. A more subtle theory: The set of Redditors who are likely to read this thread and the set of Redditors who are likely to upvote any wild female bashing opinion without regard to merit has a great deal of overlap. | /r/MensRights | 14/05/10 02:53 AM
Women CEOs earn 40% more than men CEOs, in 2009 female CEOs got raises averaging nearly 30 percent, while male CEOs took pay cuts. But my point is that, statistically, the group is too small to be meaningful. Those 16 CEO's are above the average. But roughly 234 men are above average too. I could cherry pick 16 male CEO's who got raises. Or 32, or 64. Some companies did well in 2009. Maybe there is sexism at work, but each company is different, and comparison isn't exactly straightforward. | /r/MensRights | 14/05/10 01:40 AM
Women CEOs earn 40% more than men CEOs, in 2009 female CEOs got raises averaging nearly 30 percent, while male CEOs took pay cuts.I'm no statistician, but with a sample size of 16, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the margin of error is big enough to drive a CEO's paycheck through. And the phrase "male CEO's took paycuts" means absolutely nothing. Some male CEO's took paycuts. Some didn't. | /r/MensRights | 13/05/10 11:05 PM
