After reading these comments I am convinced that lots of men are actually jealous of women bc of the attention they think they get from a young age. It’s kinda gross and sad.

And education system increasingly hostile to men?!? Have you been to university? As a woman I can say that the other women in my class consistently scored higher bc they put in SO much more effort than the guys. You would talk to guys and they would hardly study before exams or presentations and the women would have been studying all night or weeks bf the presentation. I think the issue with education is that men typically are over-confident about their abilities and women are under-confident, w…

Dang, as a woman I can say this is 100% spot on!

You must be a guy bc women stare at themselves in their mirror for probably an avg hour a day lol I mean we put on makeup and skincare for at least 30 min while staring at ourselves and into our eyes. I spend another 30+ dancing and hyping myself up then another 30+ at night in skincare while talking to myself. It blows my mind that most men don’t have a relationship with themselves like this.

Yep, this is a good answer. Its the same as a guy who attracted to a woman who is fit and has nice curves. My eyes and body respond in a certain way to a guy who is fit with nice broad shoulders and strong legs. It’s visually pleasing and makes me feel a certain way. You don’t have to be body builder fit or even super tall, just nice definition will do wonders. I think it’s also a safety thing, like it’s nice knowing that if I was going to be attacked by a wild animal or human, my guy would be a…

Thank you :) So many of these commenters will never find a partner and I hope they don’t.

It’s not a “joke” if it is hurting someone’s feelings. Are you saying that you wouldn’t stand up for your partner if someone made a comment about their appearance that made then feel incredibly insecure? Your a shitty partner if you would allow another man to disrespect your woman like that publicly.

I agree, I commented something similar and I’ll prob get downvoted into oblivion. Since when is being sympathetic toward your partner a bad thing? Kids are fucked up now a days.

Wtf? As a woman, I would LOVE to have a man stick up for me like that. Why would I want to be with someone who allows another person to publicly humiliate me, especially about something that is deeply personal. Fuck Chris Rock, he should know better than to go there. Will smith did what most men should do in that situation and I 100% guarantee you most women would fall hard for any man who defends their pride. This post is the reason why men should not always take other mens dating advice about …

I think that guys just need to try harder. By that I mean work on their appearance, emotional intelligence, and learn about how mysogney has shaped their view of women and how women are currently being impacted by it. I say all of this because when I look at an average woman vs an average man, the women is 10x better looking, and that is because they have spent time grooming themselves in the morning and putting extra effort into their appearance in a way that men don’t. I think men would be mor…

You did good OP. I wish more guys would approach this way. Super simple and to the point :)

I disagree with you. I would totally be open to a guy approaching me like this. If I found him attractive, I wouldn’t even care if he was nervous or shy. I would actually find that really cute. There doesn’t need to be any “seduction” or “sexual tension” lol

Ah, the get noticed part is important. If I notice that a guy might be interested but seems too shy to approach I will do the approaching. It hasn’t really lead to much for me but that’s really interesting that the results have been better for you when the dynamic is the woman approaching. I have a question though. What if the woman isn’t your type? I know that guys seem to have specific types and I’ve been cautious about doing more approaching because I don’t want to end up with a guy who is se…

Woman here: if a man I am attracted to does not show interest I automatically put him into the invisible category, meaning I no longer view him as a potential date. I just assume they are either gay, married, or not into my physical appearance and they become invisible to me aka I don’t try to make eye contact anymore.

PORN!! I can deal with a guy who smokes weed but a porn addiction? Hell no, I’d be outta there so fast.

If you do not see any value in a woman outside of sex then you have no business dating them. If you exclusively prefer being around men then I think you may want to reconsider what gender you are actually attracted to….

Yikes. As a woman, if a guy ever told me what to do by giving me a direct order I would walk away and never speak to them again. Like even if he apologized, I would NEVER talk to him again, EVER. So men reading this guys post, be careful doing this because it will most likely ruin your chances of being with a girl if you really like her.

WHAT? Women aren’t a good source of dating advice? Are you crazy? We as women know how other women think and know what we want lol Like why would a man know more about how women think than a woman herself? Honestly, if your thinking is this immature I bet your date picked up on it and was ghosting you. I’m her age and I wouldn’t date a guy who thinks like you.

Yet again, another man trying to tell men “don’t listen to what these women are clearly telling you they want or how they feel” because why would women know anything about how other women think? Crazy. Also, why would all the women be unattractive? That doesn’t even make sense. You do realize there are attractive women who don’t enjoy going out and getting wasted every night with their friends. I think the dating advice is generally spot on EXCEPT for FDS, that sub is toxic and even I was Jenner…

Women feel the exact same way. I have just started approaching men and OMG is it nerve wracking. I always think, well what if I read the signals wrong and then I look like an idiot. Also, the more attractive they are the harder it is. I relate so much to you saying you’ll leave the situation because I do the same thing and I’m not even the one expected to make the first move lol

Dude, treat her like a queen and pay for her drinks. If a guy doesn’t act like he’s trying to impress me then I lose interest.

I disagree. I am not into men unless they are clearly into me. Why would I want to waste my time with someone who thinks I’m “just okay” when someone else might be totally captivated by me? Like if a guy is ignoring me then I’ve completely stopped paying attention to him. If I see a guy who I am attracted to and he looks at me like he’s totally into me, I’m definitely giving him a shot over the guy who ignores me. I’m also 30 and don’t see a point in playing mind games. Maybe this disinterested …

As a woman this sounds like a horrible tactic. If an attractive guy was ignoring me I would assume he was either not interested or married/taken and then completely write him off as not potential dating material and ignore him. BUT maybe this works for girls who are attracted to emotionally unavailable men…. I used to do this until I realized it was a pattern and all they guys ended up being huge ass holes. So maybe it will work if the women are either young or lack dating experience.

As a woman, I don’t think messaging her on IG is weird at all! Heck, I’ve done it to guys. How else are you supposed to contact them if your timing is off. I wouldn’t take it personally that she ignored you. Sometime we are just going through something and the thought of a relationship is too much, even if it’s just a friendship. This is not OKAY for her to do but it’s not you. Also, she could have a boyfriend and maybe he went through her phone and blocked you?

LOL, dude, I can confirm that we wear flattering outfits to the gym because it makes us feel good. I work hard af to look good and it feels absolutely fantastic to look on the mirror while working out and see myself looking good. When I wear baggy clothes in covers up my muscles and hard work, why would I want to look in the mirror and see that? 100% not doing it for male attention but to boost my own ego/confidence.

Yes and no. Personally, I’m not subscribed to anything that has photoshopped images. The only subreddit I sub to with human photos is r/normalnudes and I think they do a good job of keeping it real. Most of the things I sub to are stuff like this where it’s mostly question and answer based. But i know there are A LOT of other subs that would fall into a social media like category. So your not wrong, it is a social media platform but I would put it into a different category.

As a woman who doesn’t use social media, I would love to find a guy who doesn’t either. Personally, I find that social media negatively impacts my mental health because I end up comparing myself to images of women who are not realistic. And by not realistic, I mean they are so heavily photoshopped that no one looks like that in real life but my brain still puts my normal body down. The reason why I would prefer a guy who isn’t on social media is because in my experience, men who view a lot of ph…

Horrible advice. As a woman, the biggest turn on is when I notice I make a man nervous. It’s such a complement plus those are the guys who end up treating you very well. Men who think that you are out of their league will appreciate you more than a guy who views all women as just “pussy”. OP, totally go for it because I doubt she views herself as a 30/10 and might actually be nervous to talk to you as well. Good luck!

I feel like men tend to degrade women and put them down instead of worship them. This is just from personal experience as a 30f.

Female here. Going to the gym and building muscle boosted my confidence like no other. You don’t have to be ripped but having some muscle or at least a strong body is attractive to most people I would think. When women start making second glances your way it will boost your confidence. At 17 though, um, maybe just know that girls are just as nervous as you are when it comes to dating and exploring. Oh and don’t just go for the “hottest” girl you see. A relationship and sex will be much more enjo…
