I grew up poor too, despite the connections I might have had to help me later in life. No, and being economically disadvantaged is not a problem specific to any race, nor is any race excluded from it. 2	Outfit Privilege For sure. I responded to a similar comment above that said something very similar. People of color are disproportionaly disadvantaged, not exclusively disadvantaged. Poverty is an issue for every race. White people just are more likely to have ancestors with success or money or connections to help them. 17	Outfit Privilege To add on to that, white people tend to have more connections in America as opposed to people of color. It wasn't long ago where the color of the skin could and often would get you denied for a job, or the amount of education you could get. And even after allowing these people to get the same education to qualify for better jobs education is fucking expensive.
