Does that mean that people should act as vigilantes? It depends. Our legal institutes' flaws shouldn't be the reason someone that is 100% guilty shouldn't suffer some reporcussions. You cant shoot someone and then suffer no repercussions just because they just so happened to be wearing a bullet proof vest. The no harm no foul argument only works with minor incidents. This is a life altering event that could have ruined someone's life.
