Why? Mormons are good people with strong values for the most part. They just aren't saved. I suspect that you're feeling the pressure of "how do I get them to believe the true biblical Gospel?", right? As I stated, the desire for real Christian fellowship still exists. They're nice people to hang out with, true, but at the end of the day light has no fellowship with darkness. And as the Calvinist I am, for me it's not so much "how do I get them to believe the true Gospel" as it is "Lord, I like …

Been a couple weeks because of how eventful my life has been lately. But here goes. - PHYSICAL: Got back in the gym Monday. Took two weeks off because of time constraints, as well as giving myself a good scare when I miscalculated and accidentally squatted twice the weight I should have been. 170 lbs, 24% bf. Deadlift 130 lbs Squat 85 lbs BOR 115 lbs Bench 85 lbs - MENTAL/EMOTIONAL: Honestly I've been so busy the last two weeks, I haven't had time to analyze my mental health. Yesterday marked my…

5'8", 168 lbs 24% body fat Noob lifts, but I'm finally beginning to see a pump when I finish working out. BP 80 lbs, DL 110 lbs, SQ 80 lbs - MENTAL/EMOTIONAL: Went to Colorado for my buddy's funeral. Didn't feel great about it at the time, but I was able to see some purpose in the trip after the fact. As of this writing, I'm not in a good place emotionally. It amounts mostly to jealousy of my sister and her husband, who as of yesterday are realizing a longstanding dream of my own. 2020 stole so …

Dude, this is such bad advice that even a blue pill guy wouldn’t do it.

5'8", 168 lbs 24% body fat No lifting this week so far, but I've been shoveling snow for three days, so that counts for something. Going to the gym tomorrow. I'll be able to complete a cycle before I leave town next week. Week 2 of paleo diet is going well. I cheated once on Sunday, and I will likely be abandoning the diet temporarily while I'm out of town; too hard to maintain politely since I will be staying with other people. Very happy with the initial weight loss though. - MENTAL/EMOTIONAL:…

- PHYSICAL 5'8", 173lbs 27% body fat No lifting this week, I was in meetings all day Saturday, and then we got hit with a famous Missouri ice storm on Monday, so any unnecessary driving is basically life-threatening. Have been doing pull ups today, and am usually managing to chin myself, so that's cool. Wide grip pull ups are not working for me, though, and I'm pretty sure my form is wrong too. - MENTAL/EMOTIONAL: Still struggling with my emotions. I think working out has exhausted me physical…

What's your TDEE? How many calories are you eating each day? (You ARE tracking them, right?) How much sugar are you putting in your body daily? Not at this point in time, no. That's tough since I still live at home. Too much of my diet is sugar I'm afraid, but we're going on a sugar-free (basically keto) diet next week. So that problem is taking care of itself, and I'm not worrying about it. As to calories, my estimates are that I'm already undereating. I'm following Craig James' workout plan, a…

OYS #3 (First 2 on Disciplecord) 29, 5'8" 173 lbs. 27% body fat (Navy method) Physical Got back to lifting after being sick for a week. Rookie numbers: BP 80 lbs, DL 80 lbs, OP 45 lbs, SQ 65 lbs. Not losing any weight right now, if anything I'm gaining weight and I don't know why. I've found that I really enjoy lifting however, and I feel good afterwards. Still struggling with some PMO, but the last week has been better. My typical attire is jeans & a button down shirt. You can take the farm b…

Can I respectfully push back a little bit? I understand the purpose of STFU and lift, but I can’t be the only extroverted kinesthetic learner on RPC. Historically, I internalize information best when I discuss, argue, and defend it myself. I only ever “got” apologetics theory when I started arguing it with unbelievers. I’m trying really hard to be a good boy and shut up in here, but my local red-pill aware buddy moved away recently, and since then I’m noticing an inverse relationship between the…

Because John explicitly states that his Gospel was apologetic in nature. His was the only Gospel written in such a vein. It was literally written in such a way to convince you that Jesus is who he said he was.

Read the gospel of John. Then read it again. And then again. Read it until it makes sense. Then repeat with the epistle to the Romans. Then Ephesians. Then Ecclesiastes. Then Malachi.

Yeah no, most of my analysis was done back in August, but since coming back to Red Pill, I’m kinda reframing my life, and with that is my relationship with my ex. It’s not the only thing I think about. My Brother in law and I are fixing to start a business after Christmas, and the only reason we’re waiting that long is because he’s starting another business this week with his wife that will be more self-sustaining. I’ve already started working out, I’m enrolled in school, and in the next month o…

Can this comment get sidebarred? This is the first clear definition/comparison I’ve seen since joining this sub.

Yessir. But knowledge is power. I have spent a great deal of time breaking down that relationship so that I never end up in that position again. I wouldn’t even be here had I not. I also would have gone much longer before realizing what a lying liar she was.

Thanks for the helpful response man! Yeah, I know my current job isn’t the end of the road. I already have some other irons in the fire, so I’m not without options. I actually do have marketable skills, but those jobs are not open at this point in time because #2020. As for lifting, I do have a TotalGym at my disposal. Can I start with that?

I should add, I live in a town whose economy depends on heavy influx of tourists. 2020 has all but killed the job market here. I’m lucky to have a job right now.

Dude, I know I’ve got stuff to work on. This sub has opened my eyes to a lot, and it’s been the answer to my prayers. Everyone I’ve seen in the last two weeks has commented on the changes they’re already seeing.

Oops, I guess the last paragraph didn’t post somehow. I was wondering, in the AF/BB equation, what was I? I didn’t have the BB, but I’m also a pretty mild-mannered person unless we’re talking about specific topics. I don’t ever really put my alpha on unless someone is being totally ridiculous.

The worst part about it is that because of his age, autism wasn’t a known condition when he was a kid. Therefore, his autism never got diagnosed, even though it’s obvious to everyone who knows him. Unfortunately, he still hasn’t figured it out.

What are his options irl without it though? He’s at the tail end of peak SMV, and you can almost schedule when he’s going to meltdown about stuff. About twice a year I have to talk him out of suicide, and it’s absolutely ridiculous the level of seriousness with which he allows himself to be “just friends” with any woman he goes out with. Last winter he got rejected by a girl who told him she “didn’t picture herself marrying anyone” who then promptly started dating a red-pill guy (who also happen…
