DO's are at the level of MD's in all but respect from their peers, NP among others are moving towards sharing in much the same roles to pick up slack from a system that is already short on doctors MD or otherwise. This is necessary and needed to bring down health care costs since apparently, "train enough doctors" is not on the table

It’s another reason why America’s healthcare system is so trash pretty disrespectful to NPs there bro, our system is fucked but don't take it out on them, it wasn't their decision to artificially constrain the amount of doctors we graduate...
