Not in defence of anything here (people like her can get fucked) but not all singers/music groups write their own music. Some record labels will have songwriters who they buy songs from. Some get used, some just sit in an archive till the label has the "right talent" for it

Yeah, that definitely would be better. Looking at the layout of the board it seems to be replicating old/burner phone screens so I do wonder if this is possibly an ill-guided warning about county lines/child criminal exploitation (but again its not just boys involved in such things so maybe i'm wrong)

Was gonna say I remembered her getting called out for being a hypocrite but everyone seemingly forgot about it. When people spout these performative statements are likely shitty people behind the scene. Yeah i get you, in my first halls of residence stay at uni one of the flat mates was a lesbian with extreme political and personal views including clear hate stuff like thinking all men should be "enslaved" and only selectively bred when women choose. It's horrible to say but it was a guilty pleasure when her girlfriend broke up with her later that semester

Yeah, my family like it (personally I find it dreary) but yeah two of the males have been accused of abusive behaviour and I'm pretty sure a few females have been accused of other behaviour (sleeping with celebs and breaking up relationships) but that doesn't seem to get brought up

Think I may have touched upon before but lady I had the misfortune to share a uni flat with during my first yeah was one of these people and possibly a terf too who openly spouted about wanting kill and enslave men cause she thought that would fix everything. Thinking back now reminds me very much of something from doctor who "and when the revolution is over and all the violent bad people are gone, what do you think they'll do with you?"

Yeah, a lady at work really fucked me off the other week (and not in the fun way) as the topic of Depp vs Heard came up and she insisted "there was stuff on both sides of that, Heard wasn't at fault". I've started noticing she does this alot where male victims of domestic/sexual abuse or manipulation are concerned.

I sympathise as I'm in the same boat. If someone does genuinely ask regarding my interests I tend to treat it as an educational moment by getting them to say what they do/don't know first so what I say can't be misinterpreted

They wouldn't say that, I mentioned on another post recently under the legal definition a man cannot be raped by a woman but they would record a sexual assault crime if it was reported and still conduct the same enquiries as if it was a rape case. This is likely what he was told

Not to be difficult and I do feel the law should be changed but in the legal definition a woman cannot rape a man. As the legal definition requires the offender to commit penetrative intercourse upon the other. So police will record/report rape of men as sexual assault instead but will make the exact same enquiries

First year of uni there was a girl in my flat who was some sort of third age feminist, genuinely thought all men should either be killed or enslaved. And would start fights over the littlest of things. It's bad but I took some sadistic glee at the time in her girlfriend she met at uni dumping her over her extreme views

As others have said if it was unwanted attention then understandable but if it was just letting on then it's dumb. I think people have internal bias for these types of incidents e.g. to some seeing someone who may not be conventionally attractive or well dressed or have more visible mental health issues approach someone would be taken as more "predatory" then if different. Not to get started on if the gender roles were reversed
