How is this pussypass? One woman made a stupid decision and got killed for it, while her friend, who tried helping her, got unjustifiably mauled. She wasn't being hateful or hurtful. Just dumb.

I came in ignorant about a subject and was quickly schooled. edit: But I do agree that this sub is way too circlejerky. It reminds me of the "safe spaces" that SJWs make where opinions disagreeing with them are deleted and shunned. Of course instead of deleting, douchey comments explaining in annoying passive-aggressiveness how I'm wrong, while using facts and evidence..

Well, thanks for using actual video evidence. I never knew it was really that bad.

You don't have to be a douche. I was just ignorant about the situation.

I agree that both cases are bad, it's just that I believed FGM was worse. Both should be illegal. Thank you for answering me calmly and rationally and for changing my opinion. edit: a word edit 2: I feel like I could have worded that better. I meant I now know about how horrible circumcision really is and both cases of genital mutilation are no worse or better than the other.

This may seem controversial but circumcision is in no way as bad as female genital mutilation. Circumcision is still bad, but you're carefully cutting away foreskin, not the actual penis. In FGM, you are cutting up the actual vagina. Both cases are bad, but FGM is worse.

I'm confused. Isn't just forcing women into these jobs still sexism.

Exactly. If we want to be taken seriously we shouldn't accuse someone of something we don't want happening.

Not all women are attention grubbing sociopaths like the girl in the article.

Nice one generalizing all women, prick. MR is about equality, not sexism.

Wow you are the shining face of MR, /u/all_women_are_whores /s Isn't the entire point of MR to end sexism? Also, if a feminist had a username "all_men_are_dogs" we'd be going crazy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
