Good article, thanks for sharing. I totally agree. All of my years playing sports my dad took me to every practice and picked me up, my dad came to every game and took me home afterwards. I only recall in 9 years of playing football my mom coming to 2 games Senior night in high school and Senior night in college. Don't get me wrong I love my mom to death and would do anything for her but my Dad has been a much bigger influence in my life.

Nothing will happen to her much like when a student makes a false accusation against a teacher, even if no legal action is taken against the teacher their name is still ruined and they will never be able to get another job. Try being the only male teacher in a school full of women. The kids are naturally drawn to you because they have an inherent need of some sort of male influence but I have to keep all the kids at arm's length for fear of loosing my job because of someone deciding that me putting my hand on a crying kid's shoulder is evidence that I raped them.

I mean it's not like they had to take the dog out back and shoot it. They have vets who do it quietly and with no pain to the dog.
