6	Is there a legal way to ask wife to leave our house? There's no 6 year minimum in CA. The general (elastic) guideline is that SS should last half the duration of the marriage. In your case, about 2 years. Here are a couple of good blog posts from an attorney in CA about Guideline Support and Temporary Spousal Support. 2	advice needed: im the father of a 10 year old for which ive had 50% custody for 7 years. the ex and her boyfriend just notified me they are moving out of county. im in California.
