I'm not saying that making the distinction is wrong, it's just that the world is in some kind of cultural frenzy right now. Everything is black and white, no more shades of grey, no more nuance. If you try to argue the point with someone who doesn't know what the difference is, or that there even is a difference, then you are going to be labeled.

If you try to argue the difference it makes you sound an awful lot like a pedophile. Even though you're right.

It was a rhetorical question. My point is that you believe in Satan and I don't. Why would you give power to something like that? You don't have to answer that question either.

I don't like being preached to by someone who hardly understands the history of their own religion. You know literally nothing about what I believe in. And I'm not going to explain it to someone who who isn't interested.

Wicca is like diet witchcraft, more style over substance. Don't get me started or il never stop. Gardener had some nice ideas and he even cast a spell to stop Hitler from invading Britain. Sadly though, a group of Wiccans tried to cast spells on Trump. That's why I can't really stand them as a group - too much fluffy-bunny style thinking. I also don't understand their obsession with getting naked at every opportunity.

I'm having the same thoughts about my own faith. I think you'll find the guys here are a lot more open minded than you'd expect. I was expecting to be run out by a pitchfork wielding Mob, but I was actually met with a few interested folks that have their own pretty thoughtful opinions.

Well this is a much better response than I was expecting I don't want to upset any hardcore Christians who think this stuff is evil. Il keep away from the more mumbo-jumbo stuff and stick to the topics that got me interested in the first place. Finding my inner peace and the balance between male and female - why there needs to be a balance and how women have managed to royally fuck that balance up.

The real deal mate, not that ren faire LARPing shit. I'm glad you brought Styx up. Another YT Chan I used to watch was Pagan Perspective, but its mainly now just left-wing talking points- white supremacy, transgender rights and so forth. I visited the channel last night to research for my blog and I find that they've shut down almost completely. They blame poor viewer numbers and stagnant sub count. Styx is still riding high. I suspect that the audience that PP is catering to just simpy doesn't …

That first bit kinda describes women, not necessarily witches. Yes most witches are women, but that's kind of like saying most nurses are women.

I've thought about your comment a bit more and I've got to admit there's some stuff in the occult that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I've tried to convince others not to go near it either but... they either don't understand or they aren't taking it seriously to begin with.

Amusing like looking at a wrecked car on the side of the road. I think they're just women who are still mad at their dad.

At least you try. The teachings of Christ got a lot of things right. I'm trying to think of something that it got disastrously wrong, and I'm drawing a total blank. Could be because of my own lack of knowledge though. For what it's worth, I like going to old churches. I didn't used to as a kid, but there's a kind of feeling I get there that's similar to when I'm up in the mountains or deep in the woods. It feels good, you know?
/r/MGTOW03/06/21 12:33 AM

It does exactly that. A lot of rules also kept people safe; pigs and shellfish are bottom feeders, they'll eat anything and everything human remains and shit. There's a reason why in the old days you weren't allowed to eat them, they'd probably make you sick or kill you outright.
/r/MGTOW03/06/21 12:08 AM

Eh, I guess. Not to get into a religious argument with you, but do you know how many religions pre-date Christianity that also have a son of God born to a virgin and was sacrificed to absolve humanity of their sins? It's not a rare belief. But hey, if that's what ppl are interested in, I'm happy to talk about that too.

My birthday is in November, so that would make me a Scorpio. The sign that's considered romantic and hot headed. Which is interesting as 9 months earlier is Valentine's day. I guess there is some sense to astrology, but not because the stars say so.

https://wildhunt.org/2021/05/diverse-artists-are-creating-bold-visions-of-the-tarot.html So I found this. There are many different kinds of tarot decks out there, not just the traditional rider-waite which many of you will probably imagine when you think 'tarot cards'. from Christian angel decks to fantasy dragons and even cartoon characters - they don't all follow the usual face cards/suites pattern. Many decks have entirely new concepts to fit what ever niche that exists. But this particular d…

I was recently in my bank, doing banking related stuff, obviously. And some big tough guy was spouting off acting aggressive and making a scene. He wasn't violent, just aggressive. Maybe he was casing the place, or testing them for a future robbery or a distraction for a robbery that was about to take place. Who the hell knows? Any way, after the female bank manager couldn't calm him down (she didn't even try tbh) the police where called. Guess who arrived after 10mins? 2 beautiful looking blond…

I can do a full Celtic cross spread and the far simpler 3 card spread. It's fun, I like the art on them and I only do them for myself. Imo the cards are ALWAYS up to interpretation, depends on the reader and the person asking for the reading. Most of the time "professional" tarot card readers are reading the person, not the cards - you tell the client what ever they want to hear because if you don't, they probably won't pay you.

I'm adopted and it caused some problems with my ex - she just couldn't wrap her head around the fact that had no interest in hunting down my birth parents. Though tbh, that was the least of her issues. She also couldn't wrap her head around the fact that I thought cheating was disgusting.

Most of the time, we are not allowed to do anything about it. It's not that we don't care, or that we want it to continue. It's that our lives could be ruined by simply pointing out these gangs even exist.

Normal sage has been used for centuries for cleansing and purification by European witches. Native Americans (Indians, what ever they want to be called) have been using white sage for pretty much the same thing. One of many minor beliefs that witches hold is "if it works, use it" so naturally white sage became very popular amongst modern American witches - partly because it's traditional and partly because of another minor belief "use the best, no haggling" . The witchcraft sub decided that this…

I've noticed that when driving, women will look EVERYWHERE except the road right in front of them. When I go to cross the road I always try to make contact with the driver. If it's a male driver, I get a wave and "go on then, cross the road". Women drivers have their heads swiveled the opposite direction almost like they are purposely ignoring me.

There's a bit about the types of women who falsely accused - she says to look at their history; have the lied about rape in the past etc. That would be great... if it was admissible in court or even looked at seriously by authorities. She has no idea what she's talking about does she?

There's a bit of a debate about small p paganism and big P Paganism. Tbh, that's where I started - nature worship. But everything felt a bit... wishy-washy I guess. Vegans and people naming themselves after animals etc. So I did my research. All religions, as many belief systems as I could find. Tried to figure what matched this shape I had in my head. Well, newspapers in the UK love to announce stuff like that - job, yearly income how active their social life is/was. And I'm pretty sure copywriters, pharmacists etc make more than the minimum wage. And I've outside of work I only saw the same 3 people for nearly a year. Don't be a dummy.

Mentally weak or serious depression? It doesn't matter - I've seen the "poor mental health" excuse used countless times and it seems to me to be the ground state of women. You can't read a news piece or watch a news report about some women who's done some awful and tragic thing without it being blamed on mental health issues. If it's real, can we please give them medical help not jobs. If it's all lies, can we just treat them like men and lock them up?

If they committed a crime, why should they get chose what punishment they prefer? Put them to work, have them do something useful and give back to society. A beating probably won't do that and it runs the risk of real physical harm - I want them punished, not physically hurt by the government. Again, if the wronged party wants to hand out a beating then that should be taken into account, but it shouldn't be backed up by governments.

I'm getting real sick of the "mental health" argument. At best, it's a way to excuse shitty behaviour. I think it's down to most men who cook, enjoy cooking. They get real rewards for the time, effort and creativity they put in. Even if they don't eat the food they make, the response from diners who enjoy it is a pretty good feeling. Women see it as a chore imo, because it is. The joy in others isn't something they care about. And for the most part don't care to put enough effort, time or creativity. Why cook when a man can buy you dinner?

Rape is not temporary, and it certainly is not just "hurt feelings". Blind people are not ruined by their affliction. Its not a perfect life, but to even try to equate it to rape is, frankly, inhuman. Both are awful, but both are also survivable. What's wrong here is your attitude. Do you have a mother? Go and tell her why rape is just hurt feelings. The first and third paragraph of your comment are totally fine btw. Edit: to risk sounding like a certain politician, I mean " legitimate rape". No…

I genuinely thought that Hamilton was black, and the whole story was about the "secret black history" of America. If this isn't blackwashing important historical figures out of history, I don't know what is.

I was trying to make a sopranos reference, but I don't remember the exact line. Basically, make up a job that sounds boring at the time. But later, if they really sit down to think about it, they might think "maybe I shouldn't bother that person again." My favourites are: Foreign communication Information analyst Asset management Emergent system technician All of which could mean something innocuous or something frankly terrifying, depends on who you tell. Go to a dietitian. There may be some foods that fuck you up. Figure out a diet plan and get some exercise. I speak from no real experience. I tend to buy the best quality food I can afford, even if it means I have to buy less of it. Il eat high fat food, but it'll be small wedge of fancy cheese not 2kgs of shitty white cheddar.

It's about as unreasonable as adopting is: not unreasonable at all. The only unreasonable thing here is joining the rat race and only considering adoption when all other options have dried up. Pun intended.

My parents where very happy to adopt and raise me. I humbly suggest you stfu. My parents chose me and went well out of their way to get me, did yours do anything special or did they just fuck cos they were horny?

I'm all for adoption, but I have my own reasons for that. In his position, I'd do the same thing. It's not about the adoption, it's about the time wasted on someone and lost opportunity. I like steak and I like lasagna, but if I was preparing for a lasagna but instead was given a stake; I wouldn't be angry or upset, I'd be thinking about going out and getting my own lasagna. And now I'm hungry

I know a girl at work who's really into video games, painting/drawing and other girls. Once it became obvious that I didn't have to watch my language or behaviour around each her, and she wasn't going to act all cutesy and braindead we became pretty good friends. Talk about our favourite music etc. Stuff I wouldn't be able to do with the cute pharmacist next door who is almost definitely attracted to me and yet has said nothing noteworthy or interesting to me at all.

There's a reason why southerners are called softies you know
/r/MensRights27/07/20 11:38 AM

My dad's side of the family is Scottish and have utmost respect for them. But to talk about feelings with them, I'd be called a faggot. It's not even a Scottish thing, it's the "northern hard man" attitude that does it. Did you miss the part at the end where I said most people are assholes anyway?
/r/MensRights27/07/20 11:37 AM

Not being nasty, but you're not going to find many people to help with that in Scotland. You'll have to move pretty far south before you find anyone who won't mock your sexuality. Even then it's 50/50 chance of still being made fun of because most people are asshole anyway. Edit: scratch the sexuality part, possible I misunderstood.

When I was in college, a skanky friend changed her bra in public (under her shirt, you know the trick). I looked away politely, when I looked back another guy (not a friend, just a guy) asked if I was gay. That's when I realised I wasn't a child anymore.

Very kind of you, I'm probably a long way from good and honourable but I try. My point was more that even while trying to ruin me, she used the wrong weapon. It tells me that she's learnt this from her shitty friends and family or something she's absorbed from pop culture and TV. If she can say this to me, all whilst knowing my own opinion she's either a sheep lead around by others (I kinda suspected this) or just the genuine devil. Meh, It is what it is. Being adopted was never a huge deal for me. I've always know and it's fairly obvious looking at my parents. Other kids treated it like a joke, but I've always seen it as my parents chose me over all the others. It was certainly eye-opening to see how she thought that would hurt me. Shows how little she knew me after all.

There's still a lot of anti irish/traveller sentiment going around. Tyson Fury said something about it the other day, hugely respect that man btw. I'll get a lot of hate for this, but it's for a good reason. You try running a business with a heavy Irish traveller population. It's impossible. Between the thefts and punch-ups you have to deal with the threats to yourself and any calls to the police get met with cries of "racism" .

Dude, use this job as a way to see how others live. Learn from what you think are the mistakes they make. Working in IT though. I used to do that, until I quit and never looked back. I can't explain how awful it is fixing problems for people who won't thank you for your work and will only call again in a day or 2 with the same problem and vaguely try and blame you for it happening again. Due to my work, I've actually become more social. I live in a smallish town and got a promotion pretty much the week before lockdown. It feels like I've become something of a public figure, guys come up to chat with me and the girls come up to flirt - luckily I have a thick pate glass between me and them. The extra responsibility I now have actually feels amazing, people are relying on me and respecting what I have to say (for the most part, awalt still). I'm actually dreading the end of lock do…

Faking concern over something that damages your point or something you just don't like. Like, I don't have diabetes. If I went to a diabetic sub and posted "diabetes seems to hate sugar a lot. Wouldn't it you be taken more seriously if you dialed back the sugar hate?". It misses the point entirely, asking them to stop talking about the thing that got them there in the first place.

And stupid me, here I am letting him teach the class right now.
/r/MensRights13/06/20 12:20 PM

An argument would be: the class clown should be sent out immediately, who disagrees?
/r/MensRights13/06/20 12:19 PM

And it wasn't an argument. It was a question. Should we let the class clown teach the class?
/r/MensRights13/06/20 12:16 PM

So you agree that they don't know what they're talking about? Why would you listen to them and tell others to listen as well?! Your point doesn't make much sense - you know it's just narrative, yet we should still listen and believe. Sounds strangely familiar.
/r/MensRights13/06/20 12:15 PM
0

Ouch man, the down vote because you don't agree with me? Practise what you preach. If these people knew what they were talking about, I'd listen. But they obviously don't. What kind of people would vandalize an all black war Memorial (Massachusetts Regiment) and call them racists? Or ban decade old MTG cards for being racist? Or accuse a famously black radio DJ for only succeeding because he benefited from white privileged or... should I continue?
/r/MensRights13/06/20 12:07 PM

In a classroom, would you let the class clown teach the lesson or would you tell them to be quiet so the teacher can teach? If the class clown kept acting up and distracting the class, should the teacher send them to detention or send them to stand in the hall until they stopped being an asshole? They are not taught differently, they are just being assholes and we should recognise the difference.

Is there something you want to buy but it doesn't exist? Or a service you want to employ but it also doesn't exist? Or it's too expensive, or not quality enough? Congrats, you have a business idea. They won't all be good ones though, that's the trouble with ideas; sometimes you create a self driving car, sometimes you create a Wi-Fi enabled eggbox.

As a species, humans have put a man on the moon and a no smoking sign at the gas station. Maybe we're actually 2 different species that look very similar? Edit: changed the word species, from race. To avoid any accusations of racism.

Interesting, not exciting. And yes, having a vagina is considered as standard for women, didn't you study biology in school? Women don't watch as much porn as men, and when they do it's not the same as what men watch. There's something weird about your questions. First 2 seem really basic, how are you confused by THAT part of my post. And the last question, dude, how the fuck am I supposed to know what women think? Ask me a better question, smh.

Only in the more abstract sense. Stuff like being addicted to pussy, scoring some pussy or being a pussy hound (Remember movies like American pie and eurotrip?). But that was more about having sex that the body part itself. The vagina is sort of a standard, so not having one or having something else instead makes it more interesting. It's like making a sandwich and getting excited about the bread. Ofc there's bread, it's a fucking sandwich. Wait, what do you mean the bread slices have been repla…

Female smokers was a untapped consumer base at the time. It made sense to advertise this way. Men already buy everything, advertising them in a positive light won't change much. To contradict myself, look at luxury goods. Like private-jet-luxury goods, the advertising for that is really good. Not too in-your-face, subtle. That's the only untaped male market left. I agree with you. But you know how news works, they're probably going for the fame angle. A famous footballer is way more interesting than some plainjane wife. Don't know if anyone one else noticed the story doesn't mention how her arm became injured? You learn more about what's happening from what the news doesn't say, rather than what it does. I get it, youre more or less correct. But feminist are the ones that pushed for this level of equality. They want the freedom to behave like men? Worse than men, like pigs? Sure, but only if I can be equally as heinous. Still sounds like a crappy system. Everyone being all disgusting and stuff, count me out.

Where I live in the UK, there's been shit tons of military helicopters and Chinooks flying around. One was hovering over the next town to me for maybe 1hour let night around 9-10pm. Very worrying. Edit: the late night helicopter was apparently looking for perps in a late night home invasion/armed burglary. Lots of nice footballers houses in that area and it's happened before.

Another real pagan here, and sometimes witch. It's almost all LARPing. Magic is hard to explain without sounding like a nutcase, so I'm not going to. No, he's not vegan. And vegan is far from healthy anyway. I'm not sure if his behavior stems from soy or not. That's the question. Everyone who advocates a soy heavy diet always seems just a little bit off. And the change in him started when the soymilk came out.
/r/MensRights24/02/20 08:58 PM

My best friend started eating a lot more soy lately. The change in him is astonishing, way too emotional over unimportant things, doesn't go out much or socialise and he's developed a taste for... more unsavoury interests. The "soyboy" insult is getting annoying. But so are the people who can be described as a soyboy. So what comes first? The annoying attitude or the soy heavy diet?

You know there are like hundreds of different flavours of Christianity, right. Some churches solely worship Jesus and Mary, others mainly the Saints. If you can't see that men are being discriminated in the work place, and the only true fair method of job selection left women even further out of work, and that when women are truly equally experienced they come with a host of other issues like maternity leave and potentially #metooing half the work force. There's a joke told by Michael McIntyre, something along the lines of his young son not learning how to walk until very late. It always stayed with me. Am I never going to have a girlfriend? Am I never going to learn to walk? Now that I've had a girlfriend or two, I'm starting to think that a wheelchair doesn't sound to bad. Also; tidy your room and turn the lights off when you're not using them. Are we made money?

First off, I'd like to start by saying that modern witchcraft is extremely wishy-washy. Considering that our main tenant is "do what you will. If it harms none." I'll do my best to avoid spelling magic with a "k":) We have a very basic framework of belief on top of which is the witchy flavoring of your choice. Yes. Glamour is kinda consider a type of magic. Yes, all magazines are currently in a downward spiral ATM. The only ones really surviving are "industry standard" publications. Kept alive by those that think print advertising is still worth the money. Imho, the death of/over abuse, which lead to the death of traditional advertising is the main cause of this. On top of our current "journalists", print is dead.

If they working a good job then I see no reason why they wouldn't get paid. If their employer withheld their pay... Oh I get what she means now. She wants to know if the dude is going to pay her from his paycheck. When doesn't matter, probably because she's got a few that come in throughout the month. Daaaang, that's easymode right there.

I can appreciate beauty when I see it. But just because something is beautiful, that doesn't mean it's "good" . E.g. an oil slick can produce amazing colours and look very pretty. Or a poison arrow frog (look them up, adorable!), cute as hell but don't you dare pick one up. I would even concede that Tess Daly is beautiful - Ruebens paintings of fat chicks have been considered beautiful for years. Hotness or fuckability is something totally different. And you should be clear on which you mean. Be…

Well, you've got an oak tree with Celtic knots and pentagrams in the roots. That screams pagan/witch to me. The phrasing is very much about karmic balance. Adding water separates the oils, making the taste stronger. Not something I understand tbh, my dad's the whisky drinker. Good rum or a G&T is my first choice.

I know you meant nothing sexual. Didn't stop it coming across that way though. "The one" generally means a romantic partner, not something I want to associate with my mum tbh. She's fantastic and all, but dude. No.

Read it again. I said he did the right thing, but he shouldn't be a dick about not drinking. It doesn't make you a better or worse person. Then he proved to be a dick. Will I get another -5 for this comment as well?

For the non-English: the Labour party is now widely considered a joke party, yet they somehow are managing to cling to the cliff face by their fingernails. And this is with the BBC and the Graniaud newspaper acting as propaganda outlets for them and Momentum campaign attack dogs going hogwild.

Not really, I'm pretty comfortable with myself. Agree to disagree? Would that sit well with you? Edit: rereading what you said - you think I'm 800lbs and throwing a tantrum? Did you even read what I typed? Ditch your friends if they're being scummy over you being tetotal. Way to go attempting body shaming, feel good about yourself yet. Holier-than-thou ass.

Cool, so youre better than all of us drinkers. Gotcha. If your friends are genuinely being hard-asses about it, then they're scummy and you're better off without them. But let's be real, I've never met a teetotaler who didn't have a holier-than-thou streak 10miles wide.

Moving to the mountains, you're going to miss the ability to go outside barefoot or in sandals. And the quietness is going to be a change of pace. I had the mixed pleasure of working very distantly with Bear, back when I worked in travel writing. He's a very charming person, very experienced. But he's kind of an ass when in character, I remember something about drinking liquid from birdshit which is just plain dangerous.

I knew a guy who was all mouth when it came to women. Apparently he was some kind of Chad. I heard a story about how him and a bunch of mates went to Amsterdam and visited a brothel, fakechad was the only one who couldn't go through with it. Made me respect him a whole lot more :S

No one in the British police wants to be accused of dropping the ball again. After Jimmy saville, every famous man who's even been in the same town as a child is being investigated with the full force of the law. It's a very bad time to be male and well known.

That they're bad people... What are you expecting to hear? Anti third wave, but pro-feminism "in general" is my guess. And if you want to be an example of being attacked for asking a question, you've come to the wrong place. You might get down voted to oblivion or murderedbywords though.

Vape are just as bad, if not worse. Manufacture of the vapejuice is completely unregulated, can "deep fry" your lungs and a pack of smokes won't explode in your pocket. Cigars are a bit better, smell nicer and you don't even have to inhale inhale. Just light it up and wave it around. Or my personal favourite, a bubble pipe. All the joy of a pipe, but with added sound effect of soapy bubbles :)

Maybe try building yourself a daily/weekly routine. I struggle from this sometimes and find that something simple like going out for morning coffee (in my case, a can of the sweet purple Rockstar) gives you somewhere to be. Also consider getting a pet if your situation allows. Pets are great - if you give them love, they will love you right back. No strings attached (maybe a leash though).

In my simp days, I bought a fair amount of jewellery. Never a ring though, not even a costume or cheap jokey ring. Back in the day, a close friend gave his girl a candy ring. She legit treated it like a proposal. Posted pics on facebook everything. He was such an incredible simp he went along with it. He apparently got some major kinky sex out of it so...not all bad? She still cheated on him, but you guys knew that was coming though.

It'd be a short movie. They'd get arrested or attacked in the carpark. It's a nice idea but wouldn't really work. If you're not familiar with the story, Thelma or Louise gets "sexually assaulted" early in the movie, so they go on the run cos they think they'll be arrested for being assaulted cos of muh patriarchy. Flip the script, Terry and Louis wouldnt stand a chance.
/r/MGTOW14/07/19 10:06 AM
