Once again we have macho Reddit weirdos getting offended over the notion that we as humans can rise above our base instincts. Your argument makes no sense because if what you say is true, then eventually, evolution will change these standards as the world we live in isn’t the one from 2,000 years ago. Why are men the ones being leaned on in a bad situation? I’ve had a hard time being assertive my whole life, especially socially partly from abuse and it turned out I’m autistic. I like to think my disability and trauma don’t define me despite struggling in areas others don’t, but it’s really hard to when I read comments like this.
