I find gyms a bad place to pick up women. Probably annoying too. If they are series they are not going to a gym to be in a social setting and neither am I. I'm there to work. However, being fit gets you looks. I was a little overweight at some poi t and when I lost it and started getting ripped I got more attention. Still have to have game. If you come off as beta you could easily lose any advantage being fit has. Same with tall. It is mostly mental.

Honestly to impress someone with a car you need to get a really good car like a lambo, a Bentley, a Bugatti, etc. Most BMWs, Mercedes, corvettes, etc are common unless you get a really high end model. It is like upgrading from McDonalds to Applebee's. I see any car less than 120k has not impressive financial wise. I personally want a BMW but not to impress anyone. I could care less. I just like good driving experiences. Not even an expensive one. A 2 series would work for me.

I also find lifting has diminishing returns for attraction. Sure being fit is a plus but it peaks at some point. At some point most women find being more ripped more attractive. At some point many will find it unattractive. I agree though. Lifting shouldn't be to impress other people. It should be about yourself.

What kind of car are you getting? I used to not car about good cars then I get a semi-good car and it was a blast to drive. Suddenly driving was much more fun and pleasant. I dont care what others think, but you cant go back to driving worse cars. The few times I drive a worse car you notice the difference. And my car isnt even that good. It is basically an entry level good car and there are tons of much better ones. Granted now I live in a city and never drive.

Lifting 5 days a week for 2 hours on a 60 hour schedule is impressive. I usually work out 6 or 7 hours max a week on a 40 hour schedule plus 20 of school. This isnt solely lifting. I probably lift only 2-3 hours a week. The rest is sprints, biking, and an occasional 3-6 mile run.

Doesnt really matter. One month is nothing to me, nor is a week. My main goal during the loss is to keep lifting and doing cardio, but high intensity in short time periods, like sprints. If I had to lose hundred it would be one thing but I am close to my ideal weight, maybe even at it. Now it is about burning fat and putting on lean muscle. A week is better but a month is nothing. Working out takes time. I dont expect results in a week. I respect very small in a month. I hope to see real change …

I cant say much about the Paleo as I dont know much about it. At the end of the day eating healthy can do this. It is calories in and out, and getting the right amount of protein, fat, carbs, etc. You dont need to do these niche diets, although they can get you faster results. Im thinking about looking into. It is time I got into a diet. I have been lifting and doing cardio for about a year straight, and I worked out in the past on and off, so the only thing I dont have down is a diet. My results have been impressive, and I not overweight, but I feel a diet is the last piece I need to really start hitting peaks again. In fact I have already cut back on eating out in the past few months and not buying junk food.

What if you are at your ideal weight but want to turn fat into muscle? Would Keto work for that. Im at about 17% bodyfat and want to drop to 13% while have an equivalent increase in muscle, but without losing any weight or perhaps just a little weight.

The problem I have seen with Atkins, this is from observing friends that do it, is yes people lose weight BUT as soon as they start eating carbs again that weights goes right back on. I have very rarely seen someone lost weight in the long term with Atkins. What happens is they get amazing short term results and eventually lose all the gains.

There are some exercises that I feel this way about it but exercising isn't even lifting. Personally I love to lift as I find it fun, but I cant do it more than an hour. 45 minutes in one session is ideal. I HATE running, but found I can deal with sprinting since you can get an awesome workout in 10-15 minutes, before the boredom kicks in. So anyway hate lifting? Do Muay Thai, boxing, or a martial art.
