The problem with your argument is that Feminists say that consent must be "explicit, enthusiastic and continuous" in order to be valid, but they also say that you can't consent if you are drunk. You cannot argue defending the Feminist definition while also denying that same group's definition.

Not that I disagree with you. But people said the same thing about slavery and that was (rightfully and thankfully) removed

So, you're just an actual female supremesis and aren't even pretending to be about equality?

Sure. Off the top of my head I suggest you look into Male Genital Mutilation. There are some links I can give you if don't want to do the research yourself, but that is one of the easiest and most visible discriminations against boys. However I'd also like to point out this unpopular fact that shows that female teachers actively discriminate against boys. You can check them out and look through their sources, they have everything laid out for you nice and easy. https://www.reddit.com/r/Unpopular…

Men also have it bad. That's a fact. But commenting shit like "not all men" and "this happens to men too" does nothing but distract from what really matters. This is true. And I'd love to see it in a gender equal way. When people try to talk about men's problems we get hit with the whole "not all women" and "this happens to women too". I'd love for both of these to go away because neither of them are helpful. I'd love to live in a world where men and women are on equal footing. I'd love a worl…

https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/i57c3k/this_sub_shouldnt_be_us_vs_them/g0obo0l?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 This is just as big of an issue for guys as it is for girls, please stop minimalizing the struggles that men face. Saying things like every rape matters, but your rapes don't is a very bad mindset to be in. I understand that you feel strongly about this, but try to understand that we do as well. Instead of attacking us because you think women "have it worse", we…

I agree with everything you just stated; those are extremes that are very harmful. However, I also believe the the other extremes are just as harmful; overreliance on your community, oversubmission toward other males (and really just people in general), and ostentatious display of emotions is bad for society as a whole. Never said I disagreed with you, in fact I believe I stated the opposite. As to stating that my comment was besides the point, I disagree. Too many people see one extreme as bad …

However, I also believe the the other extremes are just as harmful; overreliance on your community, oversubmission toward other males (and really just people in general), and ostentatious display of emotions is bad for society as a whole. Being self-reliant isn't always a bad thing, it can do wonders for self-esteem and how you see yourself. Refusing support when you need it can be very harmful, but sometimes it i…

This is actually something that has really bothered me. I've always seen a trend throughout tv and movies to peg flamboyant males as gay (open or not). It bugs me because it's like they're saying that if you are flamboyant you have to be gay. I was a decently flamboyant kid when I was younger, and all of those messages (subtle as they were when I was younger, and less so as I grew older) really made it harder to grow up. Luckily I was able to figure myself out and grow more mature and steady in …

I've always just kind of lumped it as women find gays as attractive as men find lesbians and never put any more thought into it. I personally have never been attracted to either so it was never something that affected me. I wonder where the obsession with homosexuals of the opposite gender comes from, and if there's any correlation between the two types.

Men shouldn't cry. Except when women want them to. Except not their woman, just ah, ambiguous women in general. If it's their woman they need to suck it up 'cause their woman needs them. But if it's other women the man better cry, otherwise it's toxic masculinity. Just don't do it in front of other women because that's too intimate. Just ah, go find a closet somewhere where it's safe to show your feelings. But you had better do! Otherwise you're being toxic. /s

I know many young girls that all chatter about hot movie stars they would like to "date". This is wrong no matter how "lucky" or "into her" they might seem. They do not understand the consequences and she is taking advantage of them. This is Rape, and it disgusts me every time someone tries to argue that it isn't. This is the exact same as a hot man Raping young girls. Jail them all.

Isn't this also the argument against circumcision? You're suspending the rights of men to retain a part of their body. This is one of the things we are fighting for

Men committing more crimes does not excuse the death of more men. In the same way that blacks committing more crimes does not excuse the death of more blacks.

But couldn't you also say that if Floyd was a black woman, she'd still be alive? Doesn't that negate your argument? Why can't we fight for both black lives and also men's lives?

While that's probably their intention, the bystander effect isn't gendered and *is* a problem that needs to be addressed. I do think bystander intervention could be a good thing if we keep gender politics out of it

But studies show that men get raped by women at similar rates as females. Rape *is not* mainly a female issue.

No, I think it is mostly cultural. Christianity's prophet hung out with lepers, prostitutes, and tax collectors (really bad people and definite social suicide). But then society evolved to say "hey, maybe we should be helping these people out". (Not trying to defend pedophiles here.) Christians also did some pretty terrible things "in the name of the Lord" back in the day, but the world was like, "don't do that" so they stopped. If we want to clean up Islam it needs to go through a reformation, …

It always bothered me about "Policeman being sexist" because my brain always parsed it as: Police-hu-man, and so referring to it as Policewoman or Policeperson makes my brain go: Police-hu-wo-man and Police-hu-person. Why is Policeman wrong, but human not? For that matter how is perSON correct? Shouldn't it be perchild and Policeperchildren? Is that being too agist, though? Should we call them Policeperadults?

The reason I'm hesitantly against abortion is because it cuts off a future. There are any number of ways that the future you're aborting could be beneficial to humankind. There are some that could be harmful, true. Most likely it will have no impact towards the grand scheme. But it might be the optimist in me that refuses to give up on the chance that the child grows up to be the next Einstein. Or even contracts a deadly disease in a way that allows us to cure it forever. I'd even take that. But…

Again, these are causes, and suicide is the result. You would not say victim of killed herself, killing herself is the result of what caused her to kill herself (and I'm not trying to belittle any situation that might cause you to kill yourself). I would use the term victim of depression not victim of suicide, because depression is the cause and suicide is the result. And you are correct in your assumption that I would like to see less victims and less suicides in the world. I think death in all…

I think "It's easier to do when writing than speaking" is better. If you keep the "to do" it helps tie in with the previous sentence. Otherwise it might simply be a statement that writing is easier than speaking for any number of reasons.

His comment does not seem at all naïve, insensitive, or trolling. Just off-topic. If he will allow me to put words into his mouth for a moment. He wasn't commenting on the difficulties people who commit suicide go through, nor trying to belittle their problems. He wasn't arguing against the fact that make up 80% of suicides, nor that this is a terrible statistic. The only thing he was pointing out was the syntaxial error of "suicide victims" should have been written as "people who commit suicide…

I personally feel that it is better to have a colder base temp where I can appropriately customize my wardrobe to keep myself at a good temperature is a lot easier than to have a warmer base temp where I have the potential to not be able to reduce my clothing enough. I find that I tend to overheat more easily than I underheat, and it's easier to counterbalance the latter.
